What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 641

I know. Just like the week before last when I was really late, now, I’m really early. I’m sorry if it makes you question the order of the days! I’m posting on Tuesday night because we’ve been notified that our internet will be off from 6am on Wednesday. Bad timing, huh.
I had a slight rearrange this afternoon, figure we won’t need the door for access to the garden for a few days minimum, so have put my desk where it’s intended to go. The light is great.
None of the wires have been sorted, but it’s OK, he’s worked without time off for the last two weeks so things that I can’t do myself are just waiting. And I’ve arranged it so that I can’t see it all when I’m sitting at the desk! My desk surface is tidy at this point. When I’d finished mucking about and pretending I was doing things, I actually got a bit stuck in and stamped some penguins. And a Robin. It’s a sign, gentle reader. A sign of preparing for a day long workshop…not actually a sign of me preparing for Christmas! Ha! Show and tell what you’re up to please, either on this chilly night or tomorrow in the really rather autumnal feeling morning! See you as soon as the magic web waves are fixed.

I was quite amazed you had posted and took quick advantage. Missed the number one spot, but number two is good! Hope the Internet gets fixed quickly. Angela #2

Just came on to link up for in the morning, now I get a long lie in - only kidding I have to be up and showered early.
What a bummer having no internet for a day, we have our water disturbed on Thursday but I can cope with that better than no internet.
Nice to have so much light, natural light, on your desk, great move - was that what inspired you to get ready for the class? (Nearly said start on Christmas).
Have a lovely week
Hugs, Neet (no 1 xx)

Now that was a surprise, just thought I'd check what you are up to before bed and there you are so I shall post mine earlier too. I never expect to get number one and I don't think I've ever been as high as five either. They told us last week that our internet would be down and it wasn't so it will probably be tomorrow instead...who knows. Have a lovely woyww whatever happens. Hugs, Angela x5x

I would hate to be without internet but at least they warned you! It is lovely to see a sunny desk though -and your desk looks so tidy! I bet the wires stay like that for ages (regardless of Mr D always working like a trojan as you'll get used to them - or is that just me!) Have a good day.

Ugh no Internet. Hope it is only for a short time. Yes I am back though not sure linked correctly. 🤔 I need to spend some time overhauling my blog I think. Sigh. Just wish I understood technology better. Take care. Anne x 10 ( I think)

Wow you caught me out this week. Looking at my phone in bed and saw you had posted so decided to arise and place my post! Gives me a little extra time on a busy Wednesday morning. Love keep seeing a different room each week wonder where the table will be next week. Ani

What a pain having no internet for the day. We all rely on it so much don’t we? Hope it gets sorted soon and life can return to normal again.

Happy WOYWW. Hope your internet is back on soon. At least we have mobile signal here (which I often use in the house anyway, as my phone will only connect to one of our two wifi signals for some reason). We have been notified that our electricity will be off next Wednesday, so I must remember to schedule my blog post on Tuesday night. Lovely light with desk in its correct position. Ali x #13

Hope your internet isn’t off for too long Julia! At least they let you know. We had to look out of the window and saw BT up the telegraph poles. Happy to get in early Woohoo! I’ve never been number 3 before!
Enjoy your new desk position and your view of the garden.
Hugs

Good morning Julia, I’m admiring the light from your window and thinking I’d sit dolly daydreaming if I was sat there or maybe I’d be rooting through your shelves. Your mobile desk still makes me smile, it’s ingenious
Have a good week. I’ve managed a stitch or two amongst all the gallivanting round the Lake District

Oh would you believe it, I prepared my page "before" you yesterday and scheduled it for midnight. So obviously didn't see it then but I was awake from 4am-5.30am with a tickly throat (get that sometimes - think it is linked to IBS) and I did ponder you possibly being early but thought no not THAT early. So I am sitting here giggling to myself which is difficult as I did my back in on Saturday, adding insult to injury as the Carpal Tunnel procedure is now less than a week away!.
Think I need to look again at last weeks photo and maybe some others to get a full picture of your new craft room. But yes it's great to craft in real light. I have my SAD light which helps me in my dark corner and YES my photo this week shows my little window, originally a box one methinks.

(your crafting space) I need your shelves...and your space. You'll have to get one of those fish-eye lences so we can see it all!! Happy WOYWW! Stay Safe, ((Lyn #22))

You could be late, Julia, and still beat me to it. It's lovely to see your desk in front of the doors. All that lovely light flooding in - perfect! Good to hear himself is being kept busy with work even if it means other stuff has to wait. Have a great week. Hugs, Elizabeth, x #23
