What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 174

Well, the 2 Scrap Ladies Card Marathon day is now but a memory. Except for the few stamps I still have to clean...in the basket at the far end of the desk.  But they're Christmas stamps, so I won't need them for a while.  I'm getting back into season, have an urge to do something in Autumnal hues.  Ok you guessed it - another deadline looms and this time its for something seasonal.  So my desk today has been the 'blank page' starter desk.  I've got the prescribed ingredients out - the stamps I must use, the product (gold and copper leaf, yum) and card stock...and have spent some time fiddling around making up some sketches and trying to get the ideas flowing.  I think you can see from here that the cherry fabric is my desk bin that Jan made for me, the chewing gum is centre desk in a big blue pot, and the ipad's there on the little deckchair - fear not Bridget, if it's not there it's just being recharged somewhere less convenient!
Thought you'd like to see this.  Miss Dunnit, last week,  checking through my workshops baskets of 'ingredients' against the lists of what should be in them.  She doesn't wear glasses, but look how she wears mine; like I do when I don't need them for reading...is that because she wants to be like Mumma, because she's taking the erm, or because she saw me coming with the camera?

Share your workspaces with us please, we like to see what you're doing and where you're doing it.  Make a quick post to your blog that includes WOYWW in the title, then link it here. Reciprocal visiting is de riguer.  Thank you!
Oh and sorry to hijack it for publicity - but if you want to read about the WOYWW Crop Meet on Oct 13th, please pop back for tomorrow's post.  Thank you!

Lots of leaf there Julia, but how much of it got back in the bag after - mine ends up attached to everything and all over the place.
I wear my glasses like that as well, sometimes have a pair on my head and another on a cord round my neck, then can't 'find' either of them.
Good to be back after a few weeks break - just like coming home.

I am into the gold, silver and copper leaf thing too, and the gilding flakes, although working without breathing is hard to do (I forgot yesterday and covered my desk in tiny bits of gilding flakes - very pretty but not helpful). Planning, sketches. Hmmm, clearly this is the way to go to stay on track. Mental note made to try harder on this score! Happy WOYWW. Fab crafty desk. I love autumn too - but not the weather (often wet and windy here). I am seriously considering putting an IPad on my Xmas list (which gets longer by the day), as so many crafters seem to use them. Are they worth the money? Thank you for linking me. I woke about 3 am my time, started to add my name, saw it, went back to bed.

Miss D has that mature look on her face. Maybe the hair, and maybe she's just grown up since I last saw a photo of her.

I noticed most of my inks were also stopped up and refused to spray, even after I flushed. I got a big container of hot water, stuck them in and walked away. A few minutes later, I returned and pumped each sprayer while holding the entire unit UNDER WATER. Some took longer to work than others, but I finally got them all working again. Of course, I don't get the lovely coverage some of your British friends get.

Like you, I also like my strawberries room temperature! And thanks again for adding my link.

Your desk looks 'industrious' - all because of the pair of glasses you've left on it... always good for making someone look intellegent if you leave them on something that resembles a book or something lol... that's why no one can ever accuse me of being intellegent - cos I've always got them on!
