So here's the underside of my desk. It's way tidy. It's how it always looks. Because I am too lazy to get off my big old high up tractor seat stool and retrieve things from the floor.Believe me, if it isn't within arm's reach, I either don't use it, or I walk a couple steps to get it. I rarely bend....even in front of my cupboards I tend to kneel. Even my spray box (on the door mat) is precision placed - I kneel in front of that too...clearly my knees are not one of my weak points! For the record, I am of course, (even in this shape and at this age) remarkably bendy. There were a few questions after WOYWW...I will endeavour to answer them tomorrow. And brace yourselves, you know how I need to whinge the day before a crop!
Precision placement is precisely perfect for crafting. And as one who has a hard time getting up from a kneel - good for you and keep doing it as long as you can.
Ooh my word that is tidy Julia! It's tidy under my desk too but only 'cos I've got a set of drawers under there. These days I need to use a cushion if I have to kneel, well if it's more than half a minute anyways. Anne xx
I'm with Wipso here - much as I love my replacement hip I still live in fear of getting stuck down there! Maybe I should bring the gardening kneeling thingy into the house :)) Di x
You are just so lucky being able to kneel. Its usually crouching for me so store very little on the floor, hence why my desk is always untidy.!! you always have a brilliant take on life which is why I love to look at your blog. x Tricia
Ho! It looks mighty clean down there for someone with a desk like yours... ok, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt... where you hidden the PIF thingy... can't see it in the photo!! ;)
Lol that is tidy i have to admit i like everything at hand and dont do the kneeling but i have a few bits under my desk that very occasionally i have to try and get on the floor or shout the kids or OH to grab it as im my back tells me that it just doesnt want to be done there lol. Xx
I can't kneel, if I get down there, I'd never get up again! Very tidy...I have a bench so my underside,(or rather my bench's underside) has shelves filled with plastic boxes. On the odd occasion I do knee...I find myself having to 'walk' out into the hall...(on my knees) until I can find something to pull myself up on... (Lyn)
I'm glad you are able to kneel. I, on the other hand, have a bit of a hard time kneeling at times. It's not that I CAN'T kneel, it's more like I prefer NOT TO kneel, Of course, if I MUST, I will, but I prefer NOT TO. Of course, I would rather just sit here and appreciate your blog post.
I have problems with bending also but I tend to have to sit on the floor. Could polish it with my backside whilst I am there I guess - ah well, next time!

Very sparkly clean :D. It's better to have the creative chaos where it can be easily reached and visually inspiring JMO!
I will do kneeling if needed but most stuff even under the desk is within easy reach, looking forward to your whinge tomorrow lol!

See, you could come and play here, no problem, kneeling on the floor - just a shame there isn;t more floor space to kneel on, lol!
