Do you know, I cannot, for the life of me, work out where I took this picture! How very peculiar. Anyhoo, it's a sign, and I thought you might like to help me out.
These cards, and 2 others are today's workshop. This is not a good thing for me - set aside the early Christmas thing for a minute, I can't deal with that on anyone's behalf, let alone my own. Try this. Traditionally, the first Christmas card workshop of the year for me signals the end of the Workshop schedule that I've been committed to. It means that Shopkeeper Gal in particular wants me to come up with a bunch more ideas and sessions for workshops. Now don't get me wrong, I'll do this to the day I die, I love it. It's my social life too, so a double win win win win thing. But whaddya think? In amongst all the hysteria of Christmas preparations, should I offer something vaguely autumnal or just good old wintery? If you took a workshop at this time of year, what you like to do? The workshops will be mostly cardmaking with a handful of 'projects' like the pegs (shown yesterday)and things that could make good presents if you can part with them. Do you prefer techniques? Stamping or using mostly papers and embellishments? Seasonal or not bothered? Themed in any way? Oh, and of course, don't even think about Anya or Magnolia, please!

Got to say the first one is a hit with me .. Non fussy .. but very classy
I love stramping myself, with beautiful papers ( when I dare cut into them, then there's not stopping me,lol)
And I also love making little gifts too. Not much help really am I ?
I like to be taken outside my comfort zone on a class and be encouraged to try something a bit new! So ... as a stamper ... I would want something non stamping and I would n't mind one autumnal card ... but if I am honest ... we don't really do the whole autumnal thing over here so I would go straight into winter.
That is sorted then ... all stamping and one non stamping ... one autumn and the rest generic birthday and mainly winter :0)Of course I am not actually coming so my opinion does n't really count for anything *LOL* But I like to give it any way :0)
Whatever you do ... You will rock!
my fave is the second one... I don't go to classes so I don't have a really good opinion...but if it is a xmas class I'd like a mix of projects n cards :0)
and hard to believe but she said it again this morning, cept she added..when will I be 6!!! lol
Traditional christmas cards all seem to be red/green so I like to be challenged to make something in other colours. I've never been to classes on card making but really do feel inspired by the lovely card makers on the blogs. Keep up the good work. A x
I love both the cards but the Star card is probably my fav.
I never seem to keep up at a class ...and every one does the card/project better than me ... because I'm under pressure and I talk !! .... so I'd have to say that I like to be taught a technique. This I can learn and then use if I want to, in the comfort of my home. Being totally honest ...I go to crops and classes for the social interaction of like minds.... ie. a good natter lol.
I don't go to any classes- or mix with many people at all in my everyday life- everybody say ahhh...lol.... but if I did I'd prefer the Winter.. Love that star card it's delicious! Also if I went to a class, being really bad at stamping I'd like the chance to look at how other people do it 'not-completely-badly' as at the moment I am resorting to buying images from Ebay and pretending I'm not totally useless lol :) xxx
I like new techniques. I'm another goes so that I can talk to someone remotely interested in crafting, I like to learn new stuff so would love to learn new techniques. I like being taken by surprise so like 'different' to what I usually do. I'm generally the last to finish a card as have been to busy oggling how other people do it and yapping.
I love the star card but I do have a thing for stars, love the colour too.
i love techniques in a class, something i look at and go 'ooooooh', for me it doesn't need to be complicated, just lush looking. i LOVE autumn so i would say that! but i'm not coming (boo) so who cares?!?
whatever you do jules will be scha-weeet!
I like new techniques and preferably something like the peg which you get to take something away with you! It all sounds fab! I also think the photo is taken on the carpet with the edge of a shoe in the photograph!!!
