Season's Greetings

I had nothing profound to say yesterday, so for once, I said nothing.
This morning is a different matter, as we set sail to celebrate another day with family.
Eat your greens, people.

Hope you are enjoying the festivities Julia.
Mum forgot to get sprouts so I had to make do with peas, carrots & cauli for Christmas day - good job I got some for at home.
Have a wonderful day.

Mmmmm! Sprouts - my favourites - for me it's a pity they're not around all year - great with crispy bacon and a cheese sauce poured over for an easy lunch too!
Enjoy your family day - didn't make WOYWW as we had to be out early for a drive to look after grandchildren for the day! Hope you had great day yesterday and are enjoying your family time today - our BIG family party tomorrow - at number 3 son's house this year!! Hugs, Chrisx

Hope by the time you read this, you've had a fantastic Boxing Day, Julia. We had sprouts yesterday and today, and I put a M&S net of choccy ones in DH's stocking! Hugs, Chris xx

Hope your Christmas has been wonderful, Julia. I've taken your advice and eaten my greens - brussel sprouts with chestnuts and lardons sauteed in butter ... the only way to make them palatable for me :) Hugs, Elizabeth xx

I've been to several blogs today, the first day I actually felt like being human, and I've noticed my British friends are making comments about Brussels Sprouts. What is it about you Brits and sprouts? I LOVE them, but they aren't any more important on Monday than they are on Friday (or Boxing Day, for that matter).

Hope your Christmas was joyous and safe. Enjoy your time with family, too.
