T is for Tuesday. But it feels like Monday

Joining Elizabeth for T for Tuesday by showing you the gloom in my early autumn kitchen at a ridiculous time this morning.
The same start as every other day chez Dunnit.

I can't remember who asked, but yes, the Paris mug is from Paris (a Starbucks branch!) and I favour it in the mornings because it holds the precise amount of coffee that my single serving cafetiere holds.  Interesting aren't I!
It feels like Monday here. I spent mOnday doing something out of routine, see.  I got up early on Monday morning and hit the road to conduct a share of a Workshop extravaganza at Japonica in Exmouth.  Beautiful autumn day I must say, and some fun I hope, for the Workshopeers.  My share of the day was the Mini book that you saw on my desk some weeks ago.

It's made from a couple of pieces of chipboard for the covers and a single sheet of 12 x 12 with some folding and cutting forms the pages.  It's easy, once you've got the hang of it and know where to cut!  (Isn't everything).
So that's why today feels like a Monday...I'm a day late to assess the domestic needs of this household, a day late in doing some of the business paperwork and a day out in my head.  How many times have I told you that I like a routine?  This does not bode well!

Hmm, me too - mini book I mean not the Monday morning thing! I just don't get how the days just seem to roll one into the other and before you know it another season is almost over!! Happy Monday but don't forget it is WEDNESDAY tomorrow! Chrisx
ps Love the shopping trolley - quite a few around these parts - it being a retirement complex!!!

First, it must REALLY feel like Monday because you didn't link up. I'm off to do that now for you.

That is a fabulous mini book. It reminds me of one I made a few years ago out of the cardstock weight CD sleeves. I bet your workshop participants were quite happy with their finished projects. I love the colors you chose for the demo book.

Thanks for sharing T today. I hope your day gets straightened out soon. I know how it feels to think it's one day and you're either a day late or a day early.

I understand how time gets all jumbled up--I've had a lot of busy, full days lately, too. Hopefully, we'll both enjoy some "me" time!

Love the mini book and I am intrigued that it can be created with 1 sheet of paper!

Your mini book looks amazing and is very clever. Someone told me that there are now only 14 Saturdays left till December... like I really needed to know that.
Happy Tuesday.

Happy T-Day Julia, what ever day your on LOL. I don't like loosing days or adding days to the week, like Monica I have calendars all over the house and still never know what day it is. It doesn't help that DH is always asking what's the date!
Love your Paris mug.

As much as I love Bank Holidays, they always throw out my week - and what with all the travelling for work recently, I don't know if I'm coming or going.

I've been looking at that style of mug in Starbucks - so far I've only ever bought Christmas ones.

Not enjoying the darker mornings and evening - a sure sign that the latter part of the year is upon us.

Glad everything went well in Exmouth. 1 sheet of 12x12 for the whole book? I think we need a WOYWW teaching session at the next meet up please!

The mornings are so dark now, I hate them! Mind you I still wake at silly o'clock even though I don't need to... Love the book, I must learn that single sheet fold/cut book method, I should have come to the workshop (if only!) Have a good evening.

Hello and Happy Tuesday! How awesome when the cup is just right size for our drinks. I too like routine and feel off on some days too.
What a cute little mini album, I love mini ones. I bet the class enjoyed making this with you.
Thanks for sharing!

well my picture is showing the dim afternoon shadows of a kitchen and suddenly it feels cold. I'm a day out too, walking even more dogs... but there's no chance of me even becoming half a stick insect....happy T day.

Hi Julia, I was a day out all last week, if not two weeks, I even told the GDs the challenge was the 14th not the 15th, so convinced the 14th was Sunday!
I love the book, and I wouldn't have known it was a Paris mug if you hadn't told us!

Sometimes it's good to break the daily grind of your usual routine and to be honest is it really a problem tat the housework waited an extra day?

Love the mini book and things are usually easier once you know what you are doing which in my case is very rare!
