GoIng Public...shameless self promotion..

2 Scrap Ladies
Scrap Lady Ally and I have scared ourselves silly, set a date and organised this year's Christmas Card making Marathon day.  You can read about it at the 2Scrap Ladies blog if you are within visiting distance and are so inclined.  It seems early.  My excuse is the Olympics.  I'm using the word Marathon in preference to the word Christmas when I consider what I'm doing. Sounds less like I've fast forwarded the year then.  A bit.

Don't know about Christmas but you have certainly got me thinking about cupcakes LOL

Wonder what I've got in the cupboard...

Think I need to go and read all about it as I had visions of these gorgeous (must say they really are gorgeous)cupcakes being a bit stale by the time Christmas comes around. Love those reindeer!
Hugs, neet xx

Ooo! Quite tempting but it is our anniversary that weekend, however, if those cupcakes are there I may be tempted to risk the glare!!

It's about time you were shameless in your self promotion. You truly deserve it. Wish I lived a bit closer. I'd shamelessly be a part of the group, even though I'm not a stamper and don't make cards. Still, one can never have too many paper skills under their belts.

So, promote away, dear friend. I've noticed several blogs I used to love to visit now post nothing but their workshop schedules and upcoming events. I know that will never happen on this blog. You would never allow it on WOYWW (grin).

you totally confused me,

I thought what have marathons and cup cakes got to do with the dreaded (mentioned in AUGUST) 'c' word???

then I realised he is a reindeer,

and that is not a raspberry and cream topping but indeed a Santa...

I do wish I could find the slow mo or rewind button... actually just a 'pause' would help!

Could we do an on line thing too...? That way we could all join in? Kind of like a WOYWW anniversary....just we would have to purchase the instructions or kits on line and tweet and show as we go on the day...whacha think?

If this is what you're serving to volunteers, I'll fly over. Lol. Thanks for the comment on my blog but I have to correct you. You also NEED the flower box die. Imagine all the types of flower stamps or 3-D flowers you could put in that box in front of the window! I'm bad. I know. :-)

Go ahead and promote yourself! You deserve it. If I was on the same continent, I'd love to visit that affair!

Sounds fab but not possible for me to attend unfortunately. Boo hoo! I am sure it will be a massive success though and self promotion is always good! xx

plug away all you like Julia... it will keep reminding me to make a start then... I'd love to join you - one day I will.

Yep - I was only thinking this morning as I went into the garage where all my craft stuff is now kept (well half of it anyway - the rest is in here)... my Christmas crafting stuff fills a metal filing cabinet drawer so I recon I should get a move on really... I see my own mini-marathon coming on - only mine will be mild to fast walking rather than jogging (you know - the silly walk; it's all metorphorical of course!!

You're post today is very apt to the weather we've got here in Melbourne...it's blowing a hoolie and looking very wintery outside!
I adore those cupcakes and would love to visit but 12,000 miles is rather a long way. I know Santa doesn't have any trouble doing it in one night, but then he's magic!
Good Luck and enjoy your get-together! It sounds like you'll have lots of fun. :D
