What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 486

It's not looking good. For so many reasons, this desk is neglected and superficially unchanged from last week. The photos are still spread out on it and horror, some stuff has been dumped on top of them. It's OK, I can sort it today. The boxes are still on the floor and will require a little more motivation, but I suspect that won't be too far behind, simply because I'm getting sick of the sight of them!
I've scheduled this post. It's currently late on Tuesday night, and I'm engaged early in the morning and don't trust myself to remember to do everything I need to before leaving the house! And I really need to have a coffee and get dressed as a priority on an early day!

So as usual friendly Deskers, please link here and show what you're up to; I feel it's been an age since I was up to anything of any usefulness, so your input will be appreciated. Please put WOYWW in your post title before linking up here. I thank you. We all do.

Good morning Julia. I do trust you are looking after yourself in all your current busyness - your desk looks like mine - abandoned but hopeful that there will soon be time, energy and enthusiasm to be able to do things on it!!
Take care dear girl. God bless.

I feel exactly the same about boxes at the moment, still currently have 7 to unpack, have no idea where the stuff that is in them, wishing I could magic them away!!
Hope you get some creative time soon & time for Julia..

I know only too well the abandoned desk syndrome and the growing frustration of stuff not put away, Julia! Eventually it annoys you so much that you just HAVE to do something about it! Hope you got your coffee and were away in time as planned. Have a great week.

Happy WOYWW,

Morning Julia, I find the only good thing about an untidy desk is the immense satisfaction of getting it cleared and sorted. Hope you get everything ship-shape and then sit back and enjoy the glow of achievement!

Hi Julia, yes totally with you on the need for coffee and getting dressed before leaving the house! That made me laugh. Why is it that sorting and tidying creates so much more mess than you started with? Love & hugs to you, Shaz #10 XxXx

Hi Julia. I love your desk, it makes me feel less guilty Lol! I hate the word tidy and sorting as it gets in the way of good words like crafting and stamping! Anyway have a great woywww. Big hugs, Angela x16x

g'morning Julia, my first thought was a grin and a thought that I am glad most of my mess hides behind the table in a closet hahaha. ( and don't feel too bad the closet is this close to being blocked off as condemned. Hopefully everything goes smoothly and you get a chance to pick up and have play space again soon, ~Stacy #20

Hi Julia, here I am bouncing back again and catching up on all that I've missed in the last couple of weeks. And I just have to mention the memory bears made by Annie - they are so beautiful. Who would have thought that they are made of ties - fitting mementos of your much loved father-in-law. I'm wondering if you have sorted out your desk today as planned ... life tends to get in the way and, as I know only too well, 'the best laid schemes of mice and men gang aft a-gley'! Happy WOYWW I could have wrote this post ! But was too worn out to even schedule one this week. We've have 4 funerals in 3 days. Weather turned cool but nice enough for my DH to work corn fields in between all this. Wishing you light at the end of the tunnel. Hey but we did have a beautiful harvest moon coming home one night. !!! Cheers.

I hope you got everything accomplished you needed to today. Truth be known, I schedule everything! I can't create art and schedule posts on the fly. I'm sure by now you've had your welcome home cup of coffee and a bit of clean up. You know what a neat freak I am, so your desk made my teeth itch. But I still love you, anyway. I'll be back to play when the linky gets fixed. Until then, I will admire from afar (or a-near).

Thanks for your visit, Julia, and I hope my box is an improvement on a biscuit tin for my friend’s album storage!! I had no time to do any today but you are right - I am so desperate for studio time now that it WILL happen! I’ve got a lot of emails etc to sort tomorrow but hopefully I’ll get up there at least for a while and make some progress. I’m hoping some of the box embellishments will arrive tomorrow in the post.

I hope you found the time and motivation to sort things out so that you can get to play! Don't you get grumpy when you can't create? I know I do! Thanks for your visit earlier this week. I'm late 'doing the round' as it's always weekend already... enjoy! Marit #8

Back from my travels. Oh Julia, please assure me you did manage to get dressed before leaving the house - I think it comes first, even before coffee.
My post was scheduled too and I have only just (after a good sleep - we didn't get home until 3 am) realised I needed to link myself. Doh!
Hope you managed to get your desk sorted, well as sorted as sorted can be, and that you have found a bit of time for crafting, for fun and for relaxation too.
Hugs, Neet (like the tail of the donkey - number 27) xx
