Whats On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 379

Huh? No desk per se.  But I can tell you, a lot - a lot -more work has occurred in this teeny kitchen than has taken place at my desk over the last week. That luscious blonde you see there is my sweet big Sissy, Stephanie. She was cooking a salad. She seems to be cooking in rubber gloves which, even for my family, is a bit strange!  The salad was served cold but vegetables had to be roasted and bulgar wheat had to be cooked and cooled. You know. It was delish.
Steph has been here for just over a week and goes home tomorrow; its been lovely of course. We certainly spark creatively off one another. What we don't seem to do is stop talking long enough to actually fire the spark and make anything! Apart from food, of course.  Ah well, plus ca change.....

So how's your creative week been? Show and tell will you, Steph and I both need encouraging back to real desk action! Put WOYWW in your blog title, link the post here and put the kettle on; we'll all be round in a jiffy.

Oh so glad you have had sister time...love all my time with my sisters.
And lucky you...she cooks. It is past my dream time, but storming so bad I'd not be able to sleep anyway. So much rain and bad lightening, so computer time might be shortened up it electric goes out. Have a wonderful week. Wish your sister safe travels.

Hello Julia,
I know the feeling, for the last 3,4 months my activities in my art room are very low, recently I stumbled across daily paper prompts from daisy yellow and they seem to do the trick for me, hope I keep going and am unstoppable now. hugs, Vicky

I'm up, still in nightie but have done post now and am #15. My last comment was done via my tablet and is slightly incomprehensible due to predictive text! Should have read, "Probably NOT as much crafting AS you!"
Ho Hum, have a good week and maybe do some crafting after your sister goes tomorrow. BJ#15

Happy WOYWW. How great to have a sister who visits you (that is a long story for me!) and cooks. I have not had my breakfast yet, so now very hungry. Have a great week. Ali x #19

I can relate to all of this. I don't have a sister but friends who have asked to come round and make Christmas cards. The last time this happened they made one card all day! though it was a pop-up box card. We spent more time talking and drinking tea but it's lovely all the same. Have a great crafty day and happy woyww, Angela x 17

It is the obvious thing to put crafting on hold a bit when you have a special visitor. If you have been bouncing ideas off one another surely that is sufficient to get the creative juices flowing when she leaves.
Enjoy the rest of her stay!
