What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 129

Oh look - a real return to form!  I'm ploughing my way through the second calendar and although it's the same, it's different.  Of course - doing the same thing twice is tedious.  Housework. I rest my case. You can see the ATG gun awaiting refill - I was mid-flow so didn't want to bother fiddling with it (and IT IS a fiddle), so I've resorted to the pink Herma. Not my fave, but needs must when you're looking for loaded adhesive dispensers!  You can just see my collection of printed sellotapes too - they are not Washi tapes or anything so sophisticated, just cheapos from Tiger, or wherever else I happen to see them!
So I'm gently moving forward with the Christmas plans..there was a lot of evidence of it on WOYWW last week.  Have y'all finished and moved on now?
( LLJan has decided to force me into Salisbury EARLY today, so have photographed Tuesday's mess.  It remains just the same now.  Of course, it's enough to stagger round with coffee in hand at this time of day, huh!!)
Show us what your work surface is minding for you won't you? Put a pic on your blog and link up here.  Lovely.

I do so love all the bits and bobs on your desk. Still not in Christmas mode yet.

Love the little owls on October. Personally, Housework should be outlawed! Here in the US we have to get through Thanksgiving before Christmas can be a priority. Pies. Mmmmm. Love the desk! Love/ hate my ATG! :) -Amanda #7

Over the years, I've bought cute crafty do-it-yourself calendars. I see them every time I walk into my studio. I admire your resolve to actually plug through and get these pretty original ones done. I'm beginning to suspect that, while I do love to craft, I may just like the shopping a bit more. Hee hee.

You get earlier and earlier, and I was certainly not prepared for your post this week. But I finally found what you call sellotape. I had no idea that is what it's called in Britian. We all live and learn. I'm off to work on my Thanksgiving dinner and all guest meals in between. have a great WOYWW and I believe I'm #9 this week.

What a hoot. No pun intended. I've saved the cardboard instructions for my ATG and refer to it everytime I have to refill! Have a great day with LLJ.

It all looks like something is about to burst, the calender is looking lovely... I had some of that paper, with a dragon on it, for my dragonsmoore ebay invoices...thought it looked dragony! Always fancied the sticky gun thing, but it's cost was out of my price range and so were the refills...probably why I bought a cheap hoover that didn't need bags, as my lovely old hoover's bags suddenly were being made out of gold and two boxes of them cost MORE that the cheap hoover....of course I mean vacuum cleaner...but it was too hard to think how to spell that at this time in the morning...oh ...ping...my porridge is ready. lovely.
((Lyn))

Think I'm 38 this week...that sounds so much nicer than being 80! (not that I'm 80)

Sue from Oregon said...

Hope you and Lunch Lady Jan had a great day, the craftin will wait! No post ready today...maybe I can get one going and join in a day or two...just a busy day and an evening balancing bank statements for others tonight...so not fun. Love all your tools on your desk!

Hi there, those owls are lovely and your desk is looking nice and busy this week.

Gorgeous calendar page you have there, love that stencil. If you run out of things to do (LOL) Papertrey Ink had a Make it Monday video on how to make your own tissue tape out of stamped tissue paper. It's on my list of things to do :D. I'm in the thick of the holiday frenzy with three significant birthdays betwixt here and Christmas just for good measure. Fortunately I've got a bit of a running start, now I just have to dodge the potholes life throws in the way lol.

I Love this ...and I love your desk ...your mojo has retutned with vengence. I think I'm getting a pink gun for xmas ...I do hope its not hard to load ...6 years ago I bought one ... like yours I think, and it ended in a bin due to frustration.

I'm really stuck on the calendar page for this week. Need to use a bare tree stamp which I don't have but thats a bare branch your owls are sitting on right? Think I might just have the answer then. Thanks for the inspiration. Hugs Mrs A.

Printed Sellotape? I must have been hiding under a rock or something because I never knew where was such a thing.

It’s good to see your desk back in its usual ‘state’ (read that whichever way you feel appropriate) It feels like coming home when I see it in full work mode…..In a strange way it’s comforting Lol!

Happy Crafting!
