What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday 54

This is spectacular, huh! This is what happens when you have a the same deadline for two different things that each require quite a lot of work - and naturally, your mojo up and leaves you. In a huff. Me, in a huff. The mojo will be when it gets back, oh yeah. I did cheat a bit..I emptied the little bin before I took the pic..just so you could see all the rubbish going on around it! See back left a pile of wooden letters. The S broke, but they spell 'Bol***ks' - there is a story (I linked to it but it didn't work..if you wanna read - go to the December 2009 archive..!) I was going to get around to erm 'altering' them, but so far of course, not done. The mess here is entirely due to my decision to make up a bunch of hanging, folksy hearts for sale at a fete - using only my scraps. It causes stress and more scraps, as you can see!So keeping your written word brief would be a help, but either way - show off your desk - we want to see what you're using, what you're currently making and what you've got that we haven't! Upload a pic to your blog and then link here courtesy of fab Mr Linky...and then please be patient and forgiving.....not everyone will make it to every desk....I mean, it's gotta be random really, huh?

That's why I can't make things to sell, I end up a nervous wreck, I'd like to see what the hearts look like when you are finished!

I wanted to read about the 'b***ocks' letters but the post could not be displayed, now I'm even more intrigued!

Oh those hearts look so cute. what a great idea, to use up scraps for something useful and for a worthwhile cause. I am amazed that you have to work to make your desk look more untidy by emptying boxes LOL! Like Marmite, WOYWW seems to be a Love It (the Mess) or Hate it (neat freak) sort of divide :)

I bet if you started attempting to clean your desk that the mojo would come back in the form of positive procrastination. Thanks for your lovely comment on my desk last week.

I left a comment, but didn't stay long enough to see if it was posted. I'm a dufus. Those hearts are gorgeous. As for your desk? Well, you know me. I'm a neat freak!

What is that pile of green on the left? Yep, I am a snoop. And I'm trying to be brief, too!

I laughed so hard I nearly peed my pants when I read that Wendy would not be disappointed in your blog post, but I might find it a bit shocking. The stamp and dress are elements for a swap on my Yahoo group. We are celebrating our 7th anniversary, I chose to make a party invitation. The date of the party is July 1. Thanks for asking. I was trying to be brief for once (grin).

Good morning Julia! Just chuckling here - I love the thought that using your scraps makes more scraps - know the feeling!!!

Hi Julia, happy Wednesday ;-) The hearts are beautiful :-) Are you still feeling stressed? Right, close your eyes, relax your shoulders, breathe in through the nose, nice deep breath, and blow slowly out through the mouth. Do this several times and if the stress doesn't ease up get yourself a G+T or a nice glass of wine hehe
Anne xx

Wow Julia! That is a very spectacularly busy and creative looking desk.
Mine looked a bit like that at the w/e, but I had to clear it because I couldn't find room to fit even the 5"x4" page I was working on into ooops!

I hope you'll be sharing the finished projects soon as it all looks very intriguing.

Just popped by to say I'm having to give WOYWW a miss this week ...as are Jay and probably Vicki. We are all suffering from a little brain melt down due to family things going on ... although Vicki seems to have her Mojo still.I did manage over 100 desks last week before I admitted defeat ...and that was over 3 days.

I love projects that use scraps but I too seem to create more somehow ...will hopefully be back next week .... with something to show xx

LOL - just found this and it seems like fun - as my desk was covered in soggy toilet paper it seemed like a good way to make an entrance!
