What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 894

I’m actually past the stage of letting the sun and temperatures be my excuse for not doing things. I’ve managed to go about the daily essentials so I know I can do more, but the draw to be outside is rather great! However, I’ve shaken off the ennui and tidied and wiped!

I’m actually embarrassed to say that there were cobwebs! Ah well, there aren’t any now. This room is at its coolest in the morning and I rarely have the chance to use it then. I’ve invested in a fan to sit under the desk…I’d rather my legs froze than the bits and pieces of paper and GKW got blown about. We’ll see!

Here’s a swing to the right to show that I have indeed tidied in as much as I’ve put things away rather than just shoving the piles somewhere else!

I’m hosting a crafty coffee session this morning so must get a move on…no paper involved, if I get to it, I’ll be weaving in ends on a crochet project. Perfect for this morning but oh boy, yawn! 🥱
Join more WOYWW folk over at Sarah’s. There you will see stuff actually being made, rather than an old woman bragging about a bit of tidying up after herself. Talking of 🥱!

Well done you with the tidy up session. My darling hubby climbed up to remove the dust and cobwebs off the top of the wall cupboards in my sewing room for me yesterday [the dust bunnies had started to take over].

Was it the imminent visit of the craft group that prompted the tidy up? It’s satisfying if nothing else and a good reminder of what you’ve got. Hope the group and sewing in of ends went ok.

I've been out in the garden today as it's cooled down a little. I need to get in the cabin but hubby has been sealing the wood so I've kept out of the way as much as possible. Having visitors is always one thing that encourages us to tidy up Lol! Hope you had a great time. Sending hugs and wishes for a happy woyww, Angela x10x

Happy weekend after WOYWW!
I tidy all the time, but cobwebs and dust appear seconds later, it seems. We are back to needing another new door. Still bemoaning the fact Mr Dunnit is too far away :) Hope your craft session was fun - I've got a mate for lunch today and really should be doing a spot of tidying myself but I am already late for WOYWW so here I am!

Well done for the tidying Julia - no need to be ashamed at cobwebs - I have a few in the shed. Hope the craft session wasn't too boring for you. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah

Oh my super tidy indeed, love it. Also spotted all the button binding files on your shelf, think I only made one with mine and the novelty wore off! Unfortunately I've just ground to a halt again with the increased heat so whacked the air-con on 24/7 we might have a respite tomorrow but another heatwave starts Tuesday and no rain for over a month now either. It just goes on and on Hugs Bj#7

Hello Julia, I'm running very late this week. I seem to spend my life tidying and organising and getting nowhere. Or at least that's what it feels like so I'm totally impressed with your very clean and cobweb free workdesk! Hope the sewing in of ends went well - it really is the most boring part of crocheting.
