I had to make an ATC for a monthly swap; themed 'plants'...not exactly my most ambitious interpretation! The good thing about ATC making is that I need to clear off whatever is on the desk because otherwise I get lost in my mess. See above my ATC there's Neet's anniversary ATC to me. I didn't show it last time because it was *of course* moved off the desk in a pile of stuff. My sweet great neice has also given it the seal of approval, we had to go through all my ATCs to see if there were any other mice...it was fun! And made me splash out on a couple of proper storage binders. Now to sit in the sun and fill them. The weather has lured me outside a lot and I really couldn't sit and do nothing all the time could I?
Ta Na! Some very easy napkin decoupage and plenty of sunshine for the two layers of PVA to dry. Just as well, these tins take up a bit of room! I've finished the edges off and re-homed two of them already. Next time I see the Pizza guy advertising his mobile kitchen in the locale, I'll take the cherry one to him....I'll offer it to him and then I'll ask for two or three more tins! So, time to show and tell if you haven't already, link up at Sarah's and prepare to be inspired!

Well those tins turned out rather well! Decoupage normally doesn’t float my boat but those are pretty. Bet the glue was drying almost before you could stick the paper on. I’m relieved the temps are lower, can’t tolerate the heat anymore.

I love the tins and how lovely to be able to sit and do them outside…
Not so easy with my sewing sadly

Those tins look fab. My SIL has been buying up cheap clear vases from bric a brac etc and using napkin decoupage on them, filling them with little fairy lights. They make a lovely little table centres. You are very resourceful to have a handy pizza man on tap! 🤣 x x Jo 🌈
I quite enjoy a spot of decoupage, and the tins look fab! the Pizza man won't recognise them! hope you found a shady spot to sit outside! thanks for visiting already. Helen '#2
Love the tins, aren't they super. Your complete lack of fans amused me as we have one in nearly every room although I have 3 in mine all on NOW. My bed/craftroom is South facing and the bricks just hold the heat and keep warming my room - it is still 25degrees in here. Yes I am a bit fixated on the heat, thank you for the nudge, I will try to stop it. Talking of fans, my last one bit the dust (I do tend to have it on 24/7 in the Summer) and hubby tried loads of times to fix it but finally it ended up in the bin....however he just came across an "abandoned" one on the street on a cycling trip Monday, brought it home, retrieved the old one FROM THE BIN and merged the 2 - sorted! How lovely your tins are and I bet they are handy for storing various things - wonder what the pizza man will find a use for with his cherry one? There's a pizza van near the pub not too far from our caravan - wonder if he has tins lying around?
Enjoy the sun.
Hugs,
Your tins are looking lovely. I can just picture you sitting in the sunshine with a glue brush in one hand and a g&t in the other 😊. Happy WOYWW. Angela #13
Hello Julia, both the ATCs are lovely and I can only agree with your great niece, that the wee mouse is cute. The tins are looking great and are no doubt very useful too. I don't know why we find it so hard to just sit out in our gardens and just enjoy doing nothing! Have a good week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #15
