The glorious weather is a huge positive for me and I really feel for those of you who don't like the warmer temperatures. We've been industrious if not creative in the garden for the last couple of months and this weather has really made it worthwhile....our outside table is the destination of choice for pretty much any seated job at the moment! (Excuse the washing, keeping it real!).
Look at that - the tomato tins are getting the treatment! My inside desk looks as it did two weeks ago but with more space because the tins are missing. I'm using a very cheap acrylic to base coat them and the drying is patchy to say the least. Not too concerned because the napkins I'm going to use for the actual decoupage surface are quite patterned. I'll second coat and possibly even third - just to be sitting in the warm shade really! I have a ton of cards to make over the next few days; Mr Dunnit is working away till the end of the week so am going to try to make hay; I keep odd hours when I'm on my own so assuming the mojo is up and running, it should be a productive week for both of us!Thank you so much for messages and real mail that celebrated WOYWW's 16th anniversary. I was very surprised and touched to receive 'real life' ATCs; they're a treasure.
Now, however far behind (me) or ahead (everyone else) you are with your craft plans, whatever you're working on and wherever you're doing it, please show and tell, it's much better than crafting alone! Link over at Sarah's so that we can come and join you. I've got ice cubes by the bag full and tea if you're gasping. And don't tell, but there's coconut cake and lemon drizzle in the tin too....am expecting visitors tomorrow!

You really are making the most of the sunshine... it's been ok so far this week as the humidity hasn't been too bad, but not looking forward to the increasing temperatures later this week... Well done for starting on the tomato tin treatment; look forward to seeing them finished! the cakes sound delightful perhaps I'll bunk off work!! Happy WOYWW Helen #2
Just to say I have visited. Sarah
Oh if only we could just drop in for an outdoor crafting session, cake and a cool drink. You look to have the perfect set up. Enjoy every minute. x x Jo 🌈
Love the outside craft desk/table. How lovely to be able to sit and make things whilst enjoying the sunshine. It's not been hot and sunny where i am. I think the valley gets passed over so many times.
Can i ask, did you not get my ATC? I am sure i sent you one as I could not send one to Jan and not to you. You still come as a pair like you did in the old days.
Well, enjoy the weather and I hope to see the tins finished next week.
Hugs, Neet 3 xx
The tins look good, hope you enjoy decoupaging them. It’s too warm for me, I’m afraid, I’m definitely a shade girl. Enjoy the cake and visitors tomorrow.
Hugs LLJ 6 xx
Ha. Last time I tried crafting outside the wind took my project and stuck it in a tree. Typical. But I do enjoy a bit of sunshine when it comes. Just not TOO hot. Lovely to see all the ATCs laid out. The anniversary mailbag is just too fun, isn't it. And all thanks to you... Happy WOYWW
