Except, loads of things are changing.
The cherry trees blossomed under blue April skies and reminded us that the weather was unprecedented and not to be taken for granted.
Then I changed my walk to take in some changes in the woods. The bluebells and wild garlic completely change the groundscape.
And my red Peony and scarlet poppy have grown themselves stacks of buds. So there’s a rather spectacular change coming there.
And, apart from some plinths and a lot of tiles, the new kitchen is finished. Well I say finished. There’s a snagging list as long as my arm because Mr Dunnit is a perfectionist. It involves taking off all the doors and worktops so I’m enjoying this space before it changes again!
Change isn’t bad. It’s not always good. But it is always happening. Sometimes you have to make the change. I’m almost grateful that the rest of this house now needs attention. One change I can’t deal with is Mr Dunnit with nothing to do!

Hi Julia, Even todays offerings from Boris (I've read the 50/60 page thingy) don't say much more and there are still questions that need answering.
Think I will just carry on doing what I have been. Staying in except for grocery shopping once a week, getting medications one a month and walking my dogs daily, which is alsomy exercise.
You take care. Sue
loving the pic of the bluebells and wild garlic in the woods it reminds me of you-know-where!! I really should make time after (or before) work for some daily exercise, but I haven't been - so it's hardly likely to happen now I can take more! I love the colour of the kitchen cupboards - and hope they get taken off and replaced to Mr D's satisfaction!!
Well, I saw the top third of the photos but then they all disappeared. This computer is driving me nuts (ok I was already nuts but it is making me a wreck as well - wrecked nut). Glad you are enjoying walking through the woods and seeing the lovely flowers.
My poppies all blew off the other day - there were about five or six on the one plant (just counted nine seed heads, two buds and one flower) - there are three buds on each of the other two plants so something to look forward to.
Happy to see your kitchen is finished, won't take him long to go through the snagging list and all will be loverly! Photos please!
Just hope people do not take the speech as a free for all and everyone starting to behave as thy did pre-March.
Hugs, and hopefully see you on WOYWW - Neet xxx
Hi Julia, oh my, I just LOVE the colour of your units. It's truly gorgeous. Love to see peonys and poppies, even though poppy flowers are so shortlived. Love & hugs, Stay sake, Shaz XxXx
Nice kitchen Julia. I just worry that employers wont have had time to organise safety for the workers and expect them to go straight back. Can you imagine if you reported your employer for an unsafe workplace, don't think you would be there for long and who else would take on someone who complains like that. I just think Boris should be more precise for the sake of the workers and it's pretty obvious they will need transport to get to work. I don't know but he worries me.
See you on woyww tomorrow, Angela xXx
Today I see there is a photo of your kitchen, was it there yesterday and it was just my silly computer not showing it? Well, it all looks very nice. Love that colour. What are the tiles going to be? So many questions, is the top a real wooden one? Gosh you are so lucky having a man who can, and will, and wants to.
Hugs, again
Neet xx

Share do please.
Thanks for sharing, and may God bless and keep you and all whom you love, in these different times.

I’m loving the new kitchen. Everything- the colour, the worktops, the smooth curvy bit on the end. I need an invite when it’s done so I can check it’s real and not cut out of a magazine xx
Thanks for aa great read
