Scrapbooking stuff from the crop before I went on holiday still in the wheeled box whose handle is very much in the centre of the photo getting all the attention! That lot just slides onto shelves and the box folds down. It was a gift that thing, from our Christine, Bishopsmate. I dread to think how long ago...it feels like last summer, but I know that’s wrong because when she gave it to me, they were awaiting the birth of the grandchild that has become known as the Little Soldier. I know he’s not 18 or anything ridiculous like that, but I would put money on him being much older than I want him to be! The upside down donkey is still much in evidence. I shall move him this morning, to the box of cards that I keep for use. Then he might actually be used! There’s a striped wallet thing on the surface...that’s got Sunday’s output in it. Ive been cutting and marking up templates for some concertina albums for the ladies who want to make one at the village Craft Bee. On top of that is my lovely patchwork and embroidered cover notebook that Annie gave me. I use it a lot. To make notes. Which is why it’s with the album wallet, I’ve actually got so organised that I’ve made a list of things to take to the next Craft Bee to facilitate the easy making of these albums. The brown bag contains souvenirs and tickets from Lanzarote.
So there’s a very candid look at my desk this morning. Come on then, show me yours. It’s only fair and hey, there’s no benchmark for tidy or organised! Nothing to lose then.
Link your WOYWW post on your blog here so we can visit. And please be reminded that your WOYWW post does need to relate to the question ‘What’s On Your Workdesk?’. Thank you so much!

Looks like you had a good break from the Lanzarote posts Julia. Hope you are all organised and tidy(er) again soon. I look forward to seeing the scrapbook pages. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #2
I hope you get to do something with your Lanzarote souvenirs (unlike me, who just "gathers" them) and await the scrapbook pages. I feel sorry for your upside down donkey, I fear for his head.... Helen #3
You know that stripey thing on your desk, the wallet? Well, I have just emptied one at mine! Caught my eye immediately. Hope that heat gun is unplugged, being a Mrs D I am sure you know not to leave it plugged in. At least that desk of yours shows evidence of use today, whilst mine is full of ... paper!
U this morning with the usual achey hip so a browse through the internet I enjoyed your story about your trip to Papagayo - will go and comment on it shortly.
Anyway, must walk about a bit - have a good week.
Hugs, Neet (no 1 thanks to aches and pans) xx
You're back! Hope you had a good time. The donkey looks like he's had one too many sangrias!
Hugs LLJ 5 xx
Hi, that's a jolly busy desk there, but that seems to be what happens when you go on holiday, the world at home continues running without you and when you get back you have to run twice as fast to catch up.
Sounds as if you had a brilliant holiday though, just relax and enjoy the memories.
Bless you

That a very busy desk you have there and it seems to be a thing that most people have lol Every time I finish a project I say to myself. Going to tidy before I start anything elso BUT do I NO lol

That’s what I call a well used desk today....hope you get to spend some fun time there soon. It’s only 8.15 and I’ve already had 2 customers so my desks are now filled with work....including 3 Memory bears already and 2 more to come yet! It’s gonna be a busy day!
Hugs,
Annie x
I like your desk and craftroom because it resembles mine more often than not! Glad you had a lovely holiday.
That really is an "action station"! You will enjoy pottering and clearing and sorting ( who I am I trying to kid!) xx Jo
I had to look twice for the donkey, I must have missed him last week though I fear I was a bit distracted by things. I have started moving stuff into the new cabin but it looks like it's going to be a long job as quite a bit of stuff is in the loft but it will be worth it in the end. I hope your space gets sorted too then we can both get back to some organised crafting......sorry I'm kidding myself! Happy crafty woyww, Angela x12
Hi Julia, glad you had a nice holiday, good to see you back. I have one of those trolley things, they do come in useful. In Black, I hasten to add. :) I'm shocked by how often I'll say 'last year' or suchlike, to discover it was 10 years ago!Or more. Oh dear. Love & hugs to you both, Shaz #6 XxXx
Totally understand re the light thing, Julio! DO need light to craft, I’m grateful we live where we do and so it’s not a problem, really so privileged. I’m delighting in that donkey image, upside down and all!
Quite amazing smile on donkey!
Heard a weird fact today, and google confirmed it, so just be true! That goats have long rectangular pupils, quite weird to look at, but help them see when grazing any predators. Handy bit of trivia.. prob not! But look for self they really are weird. I just googled goats eyes and hit images.
So glad the hols was total success and you’re like me I need lists or can’t survive, kitchen bench has quite a few, shopping list, repair me list card list, jobs list, etc!
Happy WOYWW. Thanks for being a blessing, and may God bless you too.
Hugs, Shaz in Oz.x #15 😊

Welcome home!
I don't feel as if I've found a friend - between your desk and mine we make quite a pair. This too shall pass - for a moment. ;-) Hugs and Creative Blessings! Kelly #19
Hi Julia, at least you have an electrician to blame, me, I have no-one but myself. The notebook is lovely. I'm getting very fond of the upside down donkey - will miss it if you file it away. Hugs, Elizabeth x #23
Happy WOYWW. My desk and yours are twins as I have everything but the kitchen sink on mine too. Dorlene #25
Oh YAY Julia, that must be so exciting to know there will be light soon. :) I am glad you got to get away from the project for a while. that probably makes it easier to know the end is in sight when you came home. ~Stacy #26
It's hard working in an area with no lighting. I know that quite well.
The upside down donkey looked like a person with a mask on at first blush. I guess I either need new glasses or have an overworked imagination. Maybe both!
Loving the busy desk - the donkey made me smile again! I absolutely adore your notebook cover from Annie - it is so pretty! Happy WOYWW. Have a lovely week, with love and God Bless, Caro xxx (#20)
Glad you had a nice holiday! It took me awhile to find the upside down donkey, but I found him! Time to get organized, and all will fall into place after that. Have a great week, Lindart #24
Lighting is so important... The builder and electrician who set up my studio when we moved here got most things right, but NOT the lighting unfortunately. Wherever I am, I cast a shadow. I have to use my big anglepoise lamp, and I rigged up 2 overhead spots over the desk, clipped to the shelf above, but the situation is so ridiculous that I often have to turn lights OFF in order to take a decent photograph!! Sounds crazy, I know. Thank goodness I've got good photo editing software. I'm afraid I couldn't spot the donkey despite looking closely 3 times at the photo! So much going on!! No doubt you've got a lot of sorting and organising to do since getting back from your hols.
Thanks for your visit. You aren't the only one to say they've had their Tombows for so many years. They must be good if they last that long! I wish I could agree about the temperament to practise the calligraphy, though. I know the importance of practising daily, and preferably at the same time each day, in order to form correct habits and build muscle memory, but I have completely failed in this for 2 days - I've only had one go so far!! Too many other things dragging my attention away and before I know it, it's the small hours and definitely time for bed!
Happy WOYWW,

Glad you are back safe and sound! I bet it was hard to come back.
New light (and a lot of it) is a good thing. Well worth the wait.
I struggle with that. So hard to take any pictures.
Happy Wednesday!
My empty desk makes up for your loaded one. LOL!
I have to giggle again at your donkey. He has quite the laugh!
Thanks for stopping by. I'm playing catch up on desks.
Have a wonderful week!

Hello Julia, back to everyday life! Coming home is a bitter sweet moment especially if you have had a great time away, but it’s still good to be home I think. Can we have a closer look at your upside down donkey? He intrigues me, is he meant to be upside down? Thank you for your lovely comments, we went out yesterday afternoon/evening and this morning I went to sleep! Catching up now xx
Always lovely to see your busy desk and have a giggle over how you describe said desk... almost poetic. I have to find the mental energy to look at how to post from my iPad so for now it will only be on insta.

Hi Julia - gosh. its far too long since I've been here to see you! Thank you for posting on my blog a timely reminder to come and visit!
Your desk is looking even more chaotic than mine (not joining in,sorry - any way, its Friday now)
On the subject of 'Lumpy and Bumpy' I'm sure that years ago there was an online craft shop by that name!
My mum used to put evaporated milk in her rice puddings for a lovely creamy treat, have you ever done that?
Had to smile at the comment you left on my blog yesterday. Great minds think alike as I had already created a journal page with "her heart on her sleeve." Maybe I subconsciously made it for you, dear.
