What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday WOYWW 525

Such a good day, Wednesday, such a good day to have a BIRTHDAY! Happy big birthday Helen! Hope you have a lovely day, we all send birthday love. You’re FAB. Even with an age that ends with a zero - who cares!
And if you’re reading this Margaret, I’m sure we all hope that your gadding about type sabbatical is going really well. Seriously, none of us are envious.

Now, avert your eyes...even for me this is a bit tiresome....
I can explain. When we got back from our holiday (lovely, thank you), I was officially a week behind with a weekly scrapbook challenge. I’m normally laid back about such things, but this one involves being in a team, and no-one wants to be the one to let it all go to pieces, huh! So in between some serious other stuff, I’ve had to come up with the late scrapbook LO and the current one. They were hard too. So naturally, my desk is a fit of creative detritus. Naturally.
See those little foam flowers at right? They were souvenirs from an ice cream (or two) last week. The box of bagged postcard looking things are actually Perspextives. Words and shapes cut from Perspex. I’m a monthly subscriber and I thought I was using them quite liberally.
Be liberal with your sharing will you...don’t tidy up, just show us as it is! Put WOYWW in your post title and link your blog here so that we can visit and be wowed. Happy whizz day.

Welcome back from holiday, Julia. And another birthday wish to Helen. I love your detritus. Or maybe I just love the word. Actually, your desk doesn't look that hard to clean up. And to think you even got foam flowers from an ice cream. Lucky you!

I seem to be a little late in linking up today. Don’t know why but I just forgot to link πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ better late than never even if mine is more work and less creative fun this week....sometimes work/life just gets in the way of fun eh?
Hugs,

I know the feeling about letting the side down Julia, i'm feeling the same about my WoywW in and outs without the added extra's.
Birthday wishes again for Helen what a great day to celebrate indeed. Hope you manage to catch up with your scrapbook to do's it sure can be difficult to get back on track after ice cream breaks.
Happy WoywW & Thanks for giving me the starting point to (try and) get back on track.. Jugs Tracey #17?

I love the higgledy-piggledy close-up! Are you sure the little flowers were on ice-cream - not G & T then!! Cute and useful all the same. xx Jo

Happy WOYWW Julia, foam flowers are fun! Mm, the perspectives are quite numerous.

Funny isn’t it how things multiply or diminish as well with no rhyme or reason it would seem, tape and glue and scissors fall into latter criteria.
My desk is tidier than normal as is in dining room because craft room is too cold. We are having cold weather for us not you.
Hope you’re well, hugs Shaz in Oz.x #21

Happy WOYWW day!!!
Yes, totally upbeat at the moment..... day hasn't started properly yet but it has stopped raining!!!
I always thought that the whole point of Woywser days was to show off the mess!! Creativity, sorry.
Enjoy the day.

Nothing quite like trying to play catch up when you have a deadline nearing! Your desk looks like a quick bit of time will do the trick for the clean up. I'm glad you had a good holiday and now that you are back I'm hoping you get caught up quickly. Happy Birthday to Helen!

Hi Julia, Love how you've rescued those flowers! I'd do the same sort of thing too. Glad you had a good holiday.Nothing like a deadline to induce panic stations, lol. Love & hugs, Shaz #4 XxX

Hi Julia, back from my brunch and ready to comment. As you'll see, I haven't tidied up - no time for that either. Fascinated to hear that you can subscribe for Perspex shapes - they must be very useful to have tucked away in your stash. And now I know why I don't volunteer for a weekly scrapbook challenge - our trips away would have me seriously behind. Creative detritus - I've got plenty of that :) Have a wonderful week. You are No 1 on the list but somehow I always miss commenting think it is because your comment icon is after the form. Don't think I have ever seen your desk so full. Ani #18

My desk has looked like yours more times than I can say! Only rarely does it look tidy. That is sad about Erika. I've probably visited her desk a time or two. Never heard of Perspex. Will have to look that up. Thanks for stopping by. I'm slowly working my way around.

Oh how I hate when deadlines approach... the pressure, I just am not good dealing with it - you are allowed BIG TIME to make a mess, I can only cheer for you getting it done! I am late with my visit due to tropical days in the Netherlands (too warm to sit at the computer in the atelier - too hot to do anything really...) I hope you have a lovely Sunday! Warm hug from Holland, Marit #7
