What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday

I've been gathering supplies to get the cutting and kitting ready for the 2 Scrap Ladies Card Marathon this weekend. So although it's new stash, it's not really for me. But it is me that's working on top of this pile. I'm frightened that if I move it, I'll lose some essential piece of paper! The very shiny Christmas lettering at the bottom left of thepile is a piece of foiled scrapbook paper - doesn't it look great in this weird flash lit yellow light! The Copic colour chart is only out because it was carefully stored inside a pad of thick A3 papers that I'm now using to make sleeves to hold the card and paper supplies for the weekend. So I guess it needs a new home, which means it will be a while!
It's all over the dining table too. Here are the sleeves full of stuff - so far...more than half still to be done. The sewing machine is still out because I've just finished another Manga costume for Miss Dunnit - there's a convention this weekend. She's going as a Pokemon trainer. If you don't know, probably better not to!

So despite all the dark and gloomy photos, I've shown you mine - now you show all of us yours! Photo your desk, workspace, counter top, lap tray - whatever you're doing, put it on your blog and then visit here to leave a link. Then loads of us will come by for a rummage. Simple. It's all about sharing what you're doing and showing us what you've got! Thanks!

Oops... sorry Julia, I was so amazed at not being number 100 and something I posted before finishing!! Ummmm, your desk looks a little packed there... and the dining room table!! Any room left to maneuvre about?

It looks like organized chaos, Julia. How does the card marathon work? How many cards/kits do you prep?

Don't move the papers Julia!!! You know it's a trap ;) Never realized you were a costume maker too! Those Pokemon conventions are amazing! Rockin' this NYC time zone! Thanks for getting to work early these days ;) Have a good one!

I reckon if the stash is for other people, then the mess doesn't count. You know, the same way as other peoples chips don't have any calories?

Ooo, I made number 2 again, yay!

Wow, I hadn't even gotten my post up and you had already posted yours. You may be the only person I visit today, especially since I'm so far down the list. You look like you are in the throes of a nightmare. But you will wake up on Saturday, the nightmare will be gone and you will have a spotless desk next Wednesday (dream on, Elizabeth)!!

I'm 47 this week instead of a hundred and something....wish I was still 47 in real life!!!! Anyways......I've got a bit of a silly game thing going on with your desk Julia, I'm sure you already think I'm a bit bonkers and this will probably confirm that suspicion. I'm sure you know the books "Where's Wally" well I do tend to play "Where's the ATG gun" and there it is again this week......I'm guessing you love that thing.

We still have fond memories of Adam's Mock Turtle costume (a crocodile with a turtle shell) from when he was nine and in the school play and needed a stunning costume to heal the wound of being denied the lead role of Alice - no amount of explaining could help him understand that a brown haired BOY could never win the lead role from the cute little blonde GIRL...nice that they still dress up in their teens tho' eh?

ohoo am I really comment 101?! (bet I'm not really...althought I do feel like it sometimes!) Hope that number's lucky! You've reminded me of yet another job I keep meaning to do, my copic and promarker charts, I can never remember which one I MUST have because I needed it soooo much just a few hours before I arrived at a shop that has loads of choice...if only I had my chart thingy with me, I say...then buy copic/promarker...(because they are here and you must buy them) only to find when I get home that I now have four Tans and yet another emerald green... My daughter's been over from USA and remarked that I must have thousands of dollar's worth of 'stuff' in my craft room and then that word.... 'why???' Hmm.
Have a great weekend

Sad to say I have not made it on WOYWW the past two weeks, just too many irons in the fire. You have a lovely busy desk this week. Thanks for the comment Julia.
Didn't really get to the "Dish" dept but saw it in passing - spent a lot of time in Christmas World (decs) and Christmas Arcade (gifts), toiletries, pets, handbags, stationery and food.

Prices for some things were shocking - £63 for an A4 card with a snowflake stitched on the front using bugle beads...it didn't even come in a box!! just an ordinary white envelope.
