What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 909

Horror. But entirely to be shared…halves the stress, huh!  I haven’t been near it except to work on top of it all so far this week, after a lovely productive Sunday. The ‘work’ on top was just cutting, writing and stringing labels for some home made contributions to our WI Christmas Market. But that doesn’t really explain the enormity of the horror! AH well, I was in the mood, zone, place.

Swing right…cutting station, scrap trolley. At this point not having doors on the cupboards is not helping!

And the desk and left hand…can’t even bring myself to close a drawer!

I will be tidy and shipshape next week. I feel the need to be straight and organised before I can do much more; not really surprising huh! I seem to be studiously and successfully ignoring the need for Christmas cards. I bought a cracking pack from Jan’s RNLI shop when I visited so my need isn’t so great really. She said. Last night was our WI early Christmas market and I’m delighted to say that despite many reservations, I think it was a success…the till was busy, the cakes went and certainly the vendors seemed happy as they left, and I even heard people asking if it was an every year event.  Whew!

Anyway, if I can bare my desk in that state, you can show us yours, surely it can’t compete! We’d love to see it. Link your WOYWW blog post here and we’ll pop in. Please allow a couple of days for some of us to. (Me). See you at yours!

Between trips, my grandsons being in town, and Church work, my drafting table was a disaster. It's slowly starting to see the light. Have a blessed week and happy WOYWW!

wow!! that's a sure sign of a busy crafter.. I do get that you worked on top of the "mess" ; if you are in the zone, you are in the zone. I bet next week it will be neat and tidy and you can breathe again! Glad the WI Christmas market went well. Happy WOYWW Helen xx

Now that's what i call a busy/productive workspace....mine would be just the same if I didn't have customers popping in daily. I just have to tidy as I go and it can be a real pain at times. At least my Christmas cards are made now so it will be a different mess today.
Hugs,

You're not on your own with the mess, Julia. I have a habit of leaving drawers open and then find I've jammed myself into my chair and have to close some to actually escape my desk. It just shows that we are busy I think. Brilliant that your WI market went well. People love homemade. Don't worry about the C Cards. I'll be doing mine a week before I post them!!
Happy WOYWW

Happy knitting-day WOYWW! LOL! Your "command centre" is a glorious mess and I would feel right at home there I'm sure. I am steadfastly ignoring all things Christmas thru Thanksgiving. And releasing the stress of waiting for the elections has left me a bit of a quivering mass, so it'll take a moment to regroup :D. WOYWW is a balm for my soul - an oasis of calm and care that I need right now. Forever grateful...
