What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 770

I've managed some time at my desk, and I have to say that I really enjoyed a bit of messing about!
There's detritus from various things, including at far right a gift from my Mother in Law which was a lovely gesture. It's a book of die cuts, labels and papers all on a theme, should make for some easy quick cards which will be a welcome thing to make in times of erm, being short of time!
I've stopped ignoring them and had a bit of sticky fun with the cookie cutter hangy decorations. Not enough to make a mobile but each will hang sweetly from door or cabinet handles. This is how I left them late yesterday afternoon, drying time if not time to rummage and find some other bits to stick in or on. Turns out that I have no mini Easter embellishments at all, and I don't have it in me to make any, so I'm just casting about for nice little things!
I'm sincerely hoping to get my desk/life balance a little more equal in the coming week, we shall see. Meanwhile, if I didn't make it to you last week, apologies. I'm hoping it means double biscuits with the coffee this week!

Do you prefer dark or milk chocolate for the digestives we have at the moment in the biscuit barrel? There was an adorable glass biscuit barrel (barrel shaped) yesterday on Bargain Hunt. Would have been perfect for my Orchard Fruits and Jelly Babies.
Of course, I love your cookie cutters, what a great idea, they will look perfect hanging in your wherever you are hanging them.
How thoughtful of MIL to get you something craft related as a thank you for what you are doing for her. She sounds like a treasure.

I had to go and look at the photo on my phone, as the gift from your MIL is cut off on the view I get via my pc - the image fills the space. Hope you enjoy using the papers.

Oh I love a little cookie cutter. They make nice shapes to build up needle felting inside. I used a little heart shape to make tiny felted brooches. Enjoy your crafty fun. x x Jo

Cute as can be! And I agree, pre-made toppers can be a lifesaver.I gave up stressing about making it aroud the desks on the day, or even the week. I do my very best and if I don't manage it I figure after all these years everyone has been in the same place at least once :)
Happy WOYWW!

It's always fun to get to your desk and just play!! Those are cute little 'danglers' for Easter. I really don't bother much with Easter, but it is a good excuse for some pretties. And a reminder of Spring, which is getting here - I was surprised to see so much blossom, it seems early. but more blue skies please! I know, I'm greedy but just had 3 weks of cloudless skies and I want more! Probably owe you several cups of coffee and a whole packet of biscuits so feel free to stop by!! Cindy xx

Good morning Julia, you can have as many biscuits you can eat! Only got digestive in at the moment, but the Co op isn’t far away! Great little Easter decorations. I keep all my tiny bits in one place and usually totally forget I have them 🤣🤣. Happy WOYWW.n Angela #10

Great present from your MiL. Did you choose it or does she just know you well?😉. You could add Easter eggs to your decorations, but I love your duck and rabbit cookie cutters. Can I have dark chocolate on Monday please? 🤣
I’m off to buy some pussy willow for art class tomorrow. I had one I bought with birthday money from my Nan when I was 9 but it didn’t survive down here.
Take care and happy WOYWW

I don't know if it's deliberate but the little tassle by the middle duck look like little feet!! It's amazing what you find in your stash when you need something isn't it? Another desker said the same last week and I commented that it's a double win - you find just the right thing but also it's justification for keeping EVERYthing forEVER! Lisa-Jane #14

Good morning, Miss Julia.
Come raid my stash I'm sure I have just what you need. If not, then something is dreadfully missing in my craft room. Space? LOL

those little duckies are adorable! I have very few Easter decorations. I hope to get my kitchen all spruced up as soon as the Christmas stuff is put away.
