What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 545

This photo was taken last evening. My daylight hours are numbered, as you can see. And look closely, the guilty party is peeking around the wall....attention or guilt?
It al looks a bit covered up - but not intentionally. I had moved the A3 desk pad to the right hand pile earlier because I had to use the Big Shot and my ‘cutting station’ is quite narrow, and because I needed 24 cuts, I moved to my desk for space and erm, light. I’m in the process of kitting cards for our annual Christmas Card Marathon which is this weekend. You can just see the next card to be kitted - the one with the Penny Black Poinsettia at right. I see two pairs of glasses and two pairs of scissors...balance is good, huh! Newly added to the desk..the purple and blue boxes at the end. Long forgotten photograph boxes unearthed whilst moving stuff around for building. My word, I think they represent another 30 years of scrapbooking! So there you have it, not actually producing crafty stuff, but ever so productive this week.
Please will you hold Shaz Silverwolf in your thoughts - she’s in hospital learning to breathe again. The filthy chemo has temporarily  got the better of her. She feels improved since being admitted and her wonderful Doug has enabled her to do a post. Seems like they are inter-enabling! I just hope that there’s a reasonable coffee supply near the ward. Makes me wanna put the kettle on. Take your time Shaz dear friend, and be well.
So link your WOYWW post here please, all as per. May your day be full of daylight.

Morning Julia. Well, I overslept this morning after a really disturbed night, didn't I? Greetings, Mr D also! Hope the weekend goes really well - I'm sure it will, you always put so much thought and effort into these events.
Take care. God bless.

Hi Julia, So you will be shut away in a darkened room.

Hope you can make your way through all those photos.

Sorry for being absent for so long, but various health problems got the better of me. The most recent being that I have broken my shoulder in two places.

No crafting and typing with one hand.

Happy WOYWW

Much love flying to Shaz and hope she’s bounces back soon.

I don't think it is guilt, or attention - I think it is mischief!
Gosh Julia, you are working so hard, and without as much light as you would like. Here's to the weekend being a huge success - although knowing you and past times it will be fine.
Hugs, Neet 10 xx

Hi Julia, great photo of Mr Dunnit. I know you'll be ready for the Card Marathon as long as someone doesn't keep distracting you by popping his head round the corner and making you laugh. Poor Shaz but she's a fighter and I know she'll get there. Have a great woyww, Angela x16x

I was worried about Shaz as I haven't seen her in a while - so glad to see she feels well enough to post again! What you need Julia is a day light lamp - otherwise you'll feel like you're in a bunker. I would put up some fairy lights as well and make my cave magical! It could be your little cocoon to escape to where time stands still. Yeah, I can see the guilty party LOL! Have a happy week! Will be linking up later! :)

Hi Julia, I see progress, slow but sure progress. I can't wait to see the finished job. Will there be light on your desk when it's finally done. Indeed, where your desk will be sited come that day. Good luck with the bagging up of kits for the CC Marathon, and even more good luck scrapping those long lost photos. Hope all goes well this weekend. My thoughts are, indeed, with Shaz, and hoping she recovers quickly and is home again soon. Hugs, Elizabeth x #21

Oh Julia so grateful for update from Shaz, thank you thank you! Poor darling been praying for her much cos knew her silence meant she wasn’t well.
I’m very late. Things are chaotic here for me at mo .. with medical issues on three fronts as well as a nearby noisy firefront. However managed to blog which didn’t think I would yest., when packing up in case had to evacuate. Really just precautionary, but it’s funny what you do when others say to you, I think you should, etc, etc.
Am glad you’re finding things, that’s nice! and yes! progress huge plus... in various directions.
Happy WOYWW.
Thanks for sharing, and God bless, Shaz in Oz.x #24 or summink.

Happy WOYWW. I keep saying that I will blog every week, but I don't make that promise any more! I obviously will need to do some blog reading later, so much to catch up on. I do concentrate on Instagram now, as it is so immediate and easy to use. However, I will always enjoy typing longer posts, so blogging is not completely leaving my life. Ali x #24

Happy WOYWW! It took me a minute or two to work what you meant by "kitting", I was thinking about kittens and looking for kitten images! Your house must be a very busy one at the moment. I hope there is not too much noise to interrupt your crafting :)

Thanks for the info on Shaz. I was thinking about her last weekend.
Card kitting... yep, I just finished all for projects of 12 each for my Nov. 22 class. By golly, that feels good!
Had to laugh at the "guilty party".
Hope you get all done that needs to be for the card marathon!

Hi there Julia, it's good to be back and read what you are up to, still the same 'mess' on your table and still the same tongue-in-cheek words, I love that and I missed you! I hope you get lots of daylight today (did you send the rainy clouds my way? It's pretty dark here... but if you got the sun than it's alright that those clouds came to Holland, someone has to take them eh?!) Have a great week and I hope to be more present at woyww from now on (I'll try to find a 'routine' for it!) Hug from Holland, Marit #4
