Apart from the day to day mugs, sight of which you often see on my untidy work desk, I have ignored a couple of opportunities to photo nice 'drinking' situations this week - in preference to the drinking and chatting that was being undertaken. Gruelling ain't it. But in the spirit, if not the reality, of T Tuesday here are two cards I've recently made that sum up the best enhancement for a social situation, if you ask me. Anyone would think I was banging the teetotal drum, but I'm not. I just love a daytime meet that involves coffee or tea and cake.

Really enjoyed the candles on the cake. You find the cutest ways to decorate and embellish a card without going over the top. Both of these are quite clever, and I like YOU a latte, too.

DH on the other hand is trying to learn this ritual described in your post, as he is retired and has tome to tag along with my outings...He has a long way to go...well, maybe he is doing well in the cake department! (I have that one aced).

I do like a good pun on a card. April has been sadly lacking in coffee dates. The first one of the month is tomorrow! Good job we have memes like this one and Abi's where we can have a virtual cuppa and catch up :o)

Had to smile at the slightly cheesy greeting on the top card, but love the bright second one (could be to do with the idea of cake, of course!)
