What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 243

Brace yourself.  I may not have made/had much time to spend at the desk, but my word, I've made a mess on it!  I'm working on some backgrounds using lots of stamps and inks for a bit of a 'free for all' workshop next month.  I'm having more fun than I thought I would..although it is in five minute bursts!

Even I'm at a bit of a loss to pick out bits to talk about, good grief it is a mess!  Still, at least it was daylight when I got home to take the photo (Tuesday afternoon) and this cold Wednesday I'm going to be a domestic goddess.  And a business administrator goddess.  And a laundry goddess.  And a craft goddess. And a computer tech goddess.  Seriously, it's a busy day!
So join in and keep me at my computer! If you need them, instructions are on pages a click away - under the blog header. Please put WOYWW in your post title and when you comment at other's, please leave your link number.
I have to hijack the post at this point and thank you SO SO much for your responses to my hilariously nosey and introspective post last week.  You are all so interesting and we are definitely all joined by blogging.

I suspect right now you are a sleeping Goddess, a dreaming Goddess, and a warm Goddess. Hope it's not as cold there as it is here. And I promise not to say anything about your desk (grin).

Happy WOYWW from #1 again this week. No, I can't believe it, either.

Good morning, Julia. If you think your desk is a mess, you have obviously forgotten the total bomb site which was my desk. To me, your desk just looks well worth a good snoop. Thank you for sharing it all with the rest of us. xx Maggie #1 (I think)

You are sneaky, Elizabeth. I thought I was numero uno, but you just crept in under the wire again. xx Maggie now number 2

I really want to start using more stamping techniques. And I like the use of all your background designs.

I'm envious of your desk this week Julia..I have been unwell and mine is BORING and tidy. I loved your nosy post, I made 2 attempts to comment, but not sure if it made it up..the crux of my comment was to say thank you for your blog and to never change, your conversational chatty tone. Cx #27

Yep that's a mess, Julia. I quite like the idea of being a messy godess though - I think I could handle that. Have a fun day in your various godessly guises, will you be changing robes for each incarnation or wearing a "one robe suits all" little number? MMx

Oh great goddess we thank you for hosting this wonderful opportunity for us to connect with other crafters.
Your desk is indeed busy, I wonder if there is any way to define the line between busy and mess, but yours certainly has not overstepped that mark yet. At least not in my humble opinion and if you can still work on it, then it is just busy and you have produced that pretty pink card on top.

Mornin'
I blame the five minute bursts for all the mess - mine is as bad if not worse! I suppose five minute bursts are better than nothing but sooner or later we will have to face the big bad IsaidTidyUp - sorry! When the children were little it lived here permanently.
Thanks for hosting and I will catch up with your last few posts now I am back among the crafters.

Oops nearly forgot to leave a comment after linking. Glad you have been having a bit of FUN at your desk this week if only in 5 minute bursts.

I love this site as it gives me a reason to post each week and to do a recap of the previous week, of what I did and did not do and what I intend to do. It sort of gives me a place for accountability.

I like colour and think photos really help a blog page with as concise writing as is possible - if there is too much writing I tend to gloss over it.

Thanks Julia this weekly event has really helped my blogging. BJ#72

That most definitely looks like a busy day, or possibly just an excuse for one??!!! I'm sad about Archiver's, they made JoAnns and Michaels pick their socks up I can tell you. The big box stores started selling more and better brands than they used to carry, and "new" things like ink sprays and Spectrum Noir pens. Our fellow wowwyer April (no22 this week), works at an Archiver's in Kentucky and is loosing her job at the end of Feb.
