What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 115

As usual I have plans, and that is why seeing the card samples from this year's workshops to date strewn across the desk is a bit of a surprise.  Remember that trapped nerve in my shoulder?  Turned out to be Shingles.  (So much for self diagnosis - put up with it for way longer than I needed to!) Am pumped full of something or other that look like horse pills and I must confess that they leave me listless.  As I was a bit 'off' anyway, this isn't good!  So instead of sitting for ages on what is for now, the most uncomfortable of stools,  I'm standing in intervals and doing some sorting. (How does the most comfortable stool in the world make your shoulder blade hurt?  No I don't know either!)  These cards are destined for the Hospice to sell - if anyone has a charity to which they give cards, let me know, will happily post you/them a bunch.  Good view of the overgrowing garden this week!
Join us  for this week's WOYWW - show us what is on your Workdesk this Wednesday - upload a pic to your blog and link it here. We'll visit eventually!

Shingles doesn't sound good. I had them when I was 19 or 20, it was very painful. I hope you're feeling better real soon.

Shingles is awful, I do hope those horse pills do the trick. A very impressive stash of cards despite your pain.

Shingles? Oh poor you. I'm the same. Think it's one thing, time will heal it, wait and wait, see the Dr and find it could have been sorted ages ago.

So impressed by your stack of cards, and your plans for them. How kind and generous. See you Saturday.

I have just done similar with a pulled ligament in right ankle- using it when should have been resting it... lovely views of your garden and desk, happy WOYWW, Shaz in Oz.x

OH Julia! Hugs and prayers from across the pond! Shingles can be miserable! I hope you get better soon! If you really need a place to send your cards, I send mine to Operation Write Home here in the states (they may know of someone in the UK). They send cards to troops so that they can write home...even though there is no stationary store in the war zone. Hope you are feeling better soon! -Amanda

By the way, those holes in my table? I 'use' my DD's nail station to craft on, the holes are for bowls. One I think has warm water and the other, I think acetone.
