Aw look. The Crafthouse Press have sent me a bunch of die cut sets to play with. Two sheets of two images per sheet and two different sheets of backing papers in each set. Bargain. And of course, bang on trend, huh!
*Edited at 5pmish...this link contains a video of John - of the Crafthouse Press, and some Gorjuss - do have a look!http://www.crafthousepress.co.uk/gorjuss ; worth the visit for the fantastic latin trumpet!

The Gorjuss girls have spots of embossed glitter accents on them but you ain't going to see that in my photographs of course. But trust me, I'm a erm, blogger. Apart from the *Kis*Kiss* text, everything I've used on this came out of the kit and I haven't added other stuff. It could so easily be done, but I thought you may be interested in quite what you can do with what you get. Or you may not. Bit late really!

These 'Dandelion' sets featuring the lovley garden rabbit are by artist Emma Thomson - how sweet they are too - I really love the water-colour finish and gingham, my inner Suzy Homemaker cannot resist gingham in any form!

Two gorjuss cards Julia :) I'm not generally a fan of the 'no mouth' stamps but I do love the Gorjuss stamps - there are some lovely Tilda ones too mind but I didn't like them when they first became popular.

Do you know ... I was swamped by peeps that plan their week around WOYWW at the weekend ... that is why you are now titled ... :0)

I have to say that Gorjuss Girls are not my 'Thang', but that cute bunny is something else, and you're dead right about the gingham... something very fundamental about gingham, homey, school uniformy, primitive arty.
My computer is on a go slow and I've had to resort to using my husband's machine in order to get anything done. I think it's full of digi images & papers etc and is feeling very lethargic.
Have fun at your assignation tomorrow!

They are both lovely, but I especially like the first one - and I especially, especially, like the colour of your Girl's dress!

Hi Julia!
Sorry I haven't been abut for a while and thanks for your lovely comments on my latest card.
Well, I'm gonna break the trend of all your previous comments now and confess that I DO like Gorjuss Girls (and Tildas!) Ooops, I'd better find a corner to stand in now!)
I especially like the 'grungy' look of this little GG, AND it's die cut decoupage too, may I ask where I can get them from?
As you can tell by this question, I'm badly in need of retail therapy at the moment. Mainly because I need to catch up, as it appears I'm the only crafter who didn't manage to get to spend huge amounts of money at craft shows recently. LOL

Love the colours of both. For Decoupager's great buy, for Cuttlebug geek's !?!?! perhaps for a change!
Anyway, have squeezed my little brain with the help of a friend and... Lady of the rose garden...Lavinia stamps. Now this is beauty!ikki x

Love the "darkness" of the gorjuss girl rather than it being girly girly. Love the second card too.

well - I never thought i'd see the day that you put a decoupage card together - let alone it be one of the popular 'girl' images - Must say that gorjuss do appeal to me - tho not enough to partake. I only own one Tilda, I prefer PB's hedgehog stamps - but thanks for sharing and sure that you were out of your comfort zone putting these together.... but hey - you have lots of hits on your blog so who better than to share something different?!!

Ooo I bought some of the gorjuss decoupage at the NEC - will have to go have a play in a mo!

That bunny is the business, dead cute, and I want to take him (and the snail) home. I love the design and colours of the top card, but the no nose or mouth on these designs still give me the shivers - how can the cute be so sinister? *shudders*

I saw the Gorjuss sets at Ally Pally - I was mightily tempted but resisted. They are very pretty up close aren't they, love what you did with the set.
