What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday

OK gentle deskers, here’s another post created on my phone. We’re on our way home from the airport and because it’s nighttime there are so many road closures that it could actually take us longer from plane to house than it did to get from hotel in Mallorca to car park at Gatport Airwick. Argh.

Oh well. For the first time in seven years. I didn’t add a single stitch to my travel embroidery. You know, the one I always show you. In my slightly improved, fitter shape, we are doing much less sitting about than I remember on previous holidays. Consequently he’s less bored and on the evenings I’m too tired to do much but erm, sit about and watch the world go by. Which is a legitimate hobby, by the way!

We’ve dived and snorkelled the crystal clear waters and eaten simple food that tasted like every happy memory you’ve ever had.

We walked ancient city walls and visited bustling markets where we wanted to buy all the oddly shaped peppers and huge tomatoes to bring home and live on. It’s been great, with a healthy dose of bad photos, mosquito bites and rough Sangria to keep it all real!
As you’ve been holding the fort and showing the things I could have been making, please keep going. Non phone blogging will resume!

Oh heck, saw this when I was on my phone (in the bathroom) and linked from there only to find it was a mobile link so added a second PC friendly one, that will teach me! Everything is so different on the phone isn't it?
Anyway, looks and sounds like a good time was had on holibobs, bit of a pickle about the roadwork on the way home though. Hugs BJ#01 and 02 at the moment!! Oops

It sounds like a perfect holiday. Wonderful that you actually enjoyed doing activities this time. Snorkeling? Sounds fun. You took some great photos on your phone, too.

Sorry it will take so long to get home. Sometimes that happens and can be so frustrating. At least you aren't just starting your trip and worrying about making it to the check in on time. I look for the glass more than half full these days!

I almost didn't play because my camera is in the shop for repair. I was supposed to know something today (Tuesday), but the guy hadn't even looked at it. Hopefully, I'll know something tomorrow.

What a lovely holiday it looks. The roadwork maybe made the travelling less fun but you can’t complain about the rest! Watermelon oh the veranda? Snokleing in a clear blue sea? Sangria?! Bliss.
Happy Woyww, here, there and everywhere!

Glad you had a great break, sounds like you had a lovely time. Re the journey back, it took longer for us to drive to Gatwick than it did to fly to Canada, never doing that again. Hope the washing pile isn’t too high.

Glad you had a good holiday, Julia. I just adore the phrase ‘eaten simple food that tasted like every happy memory you’ve ever had’. That’s the essence of a good holiday for me. I thought the watermelon were earrings at first! I hope your journey home was ok.
Take care and happy WOYWW
