What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 869

Now don’t be in awe, but it’s OK to be surprised. I’ve spent half an hour in my room every day this week ( I know it’s only Wednesday but in half an hour I can get some stuff done!) . I’ve made an ATC for a monthly swap with a pen pal - evidenced by the little packet of plastic sleeves at left, a couple of thank you cards - evidenced by the two ink pads still on the desk, and here I am working on something vaguely Easter-ish. It would seem that I need to take a photo of the desk each time I think I’ve tidied up so as to see what I’ve missed! The Easter style work is for a WI craft session at the March meeting.  The other ladies who are tasked with making something for the meeting keep saying ‘there’s plenty of time’, but not for me, I need my contribution, tried, tested and kitted or I’ll procrastinate it to the point of panic and it’ll be a rubbish contribution! So that’s me for now, pop over to the link lady Sarah and join us why don’t you. More interesting desks than mine await!  Sarah’s

It's good to hear you're keeping busy....a little and often is a good idea. I like to get prepared in plenty of time too so I'm with you on that one.

Super bunny card, love how you have used the negative of the circle die to show off the patterned paper, now I want one of those dies - LOL. Love the actual bunny too. Whoop Whoop to you for the 30 mins a day at your desk too. Hugs Bj#1

I like your bunny cards, great idea for Easter. 3 consecutive days of half an hour crafting is good. Keep going. Hugs Angela #4

what a cute bunny card. I can't remember the last time I made cards for Easter so good on you! I like the idea of half an hour a day doing something but until the evenings are light enough to see what I am doing down on the floor I can't do much , certainly nothing that needs colour-matching! (my excuse and I am sticking to it!) Happy WOYWW Helen #2

Awww. Bunny! So cute, perched on the circle cut-out. I am like you - if I wait, time gets away from me and I never manage to catch up and then it's too late. I might plan for 1/2 hour but then I look up, it's lunchtime, and I am still in my jammies. But when I am done, ahead of the game, I feel such a sense of overwhelming relief. I though crafting was meant to be relaxing...? :D Happy catch-up WOYWW, post-knitting!

I don't just photo the desk for you lot, I do it so I can remember what I've actually been doing! At the moment I'm full of cold, no idea where that came from but just pleased it didn't arrive while we were away. I'm with you on the prep. you never know when something (like a cold Lol!) might just turn up and stop you getting ready for an event though I did learn early when teaching that not every project for a class goes to plan and when you've got 30 children in front of you it's better to know it's going to work. Take care and enjoy the crafting. Happy woyww hugs, Angela x11x

Glad to see your desk has seen some action Julia. I know what you mean about prepping for craft sessions - I like to have everything done well in advance too. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah
