This is the jammy edition. Again I'm here to say thank you, we had a cream tea delivered from this fabulous community. We enjoyed it very, very much.
The big tub of cream was in a silver bubbly envelope with a little freezer block in the bag. So efficient. Doesn't it all look inviting! I unpacked it and put the cream in the fridge as we decided we'd have a proper lovely tea in the autumn sunshine the next day. Well, because of the circs, I woke in the middle of the night to find myself alone in bed. I staggered downstairs to find Mr Dunnit making a cup of tea, so I joined him. And then, like naughty children, we scoffed a cream tea at 230am. And we did it again the next day because the scones were HUGE and we really did struggle to finish one each, laden as they were...I mean, the jam would hardly spread!Another lift to our morale, at just the right time, even if it was a ridiculous time, thank you so much. We had the go ahead to start clearing the site and have spent days scavenging in the soot and ash to remove what is now scrap metal. Oddly, I think it's cathartic for him, but I've stopped, it's really not any therapy for me! I've had a weekend of therapy with The Coven, some scrapbooking and chat about anything except what we're going to do (not entirely sure, yet) and lots of cutting and sticking. Best therapy, as we all know! I actually made a good handful of layouts, surprised myself...perhaps the reduced time I had concentrated my mind! So instead of the actual desk, please enjoy some of my output, because by next Wednesday, my desk will be littered, cluttered and messy, as normal!

Gorgeous layouts, I really must get back to mine...."Midnight" (2.30am) feast and why not sounds amazing. Hugs BJ#5
How lovely to have a (nearly) midnight feast, that made me laugh! I’m well impressed with that Cream Tea box, would use that company again for sure. Glad there’s glimmers of light in the way forward, hugs to you both xx
Hope you’re feeling ok,
Hugs LLJ 6 xx
Fabulous layouts Julia - glad you were able to get away for a weekend with the Coven. Good that you had both an afternoon tea and a midnight feast out of the hamper as well. Hugs. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah
I am reading this in the office on my lunch break , I nearly LOL at the middle of the night cream tea! Glad you both enjoyed it . Lots of love always Helen #3
So happy you have friends to lean on and are taking good care of you. Hugs from way over here. Love you!
The scones look scrummy and you deserve a little treat. Bet the weekend away did you the world of good, I always find that our Craft and Chat day is so refreshing although we tend to chat more than make. I'm sure you will both come up with a good idea moving forward. Remember the Phoenix rises from the Ashes. Happy creative woyww. Angela x11x
So glad you enjoyed your cream tea…what ever the time 😀 I hope you have sunshine from the ashes…and soon.
Hugs,

You certainly deserve that little treat and I loved the thought of the two of you tucking into scones in the early hours🤣 well done both! Your LOs are fab. Crafting really does focus the mind and it's always great therapy. Hugs from us in Shropshire.x x Jo 🌈
I can just imagine us doing something like that. Nothing better for lifting the morale than a cream tea at 2.30 am. Sounds wonderful and better than the company I have used in the past. Might just be tempted but doubt I will eat at 2,30 am - it's usually the z's then.
So glad the Coven helped and you certainly got some lovely LO'a done when out with the girls.
Hugs, neet 1 xx
ps guess what? My appointment was tomorrow. My chiro was on a plane somewhere when I got there so we had to turn back. 45 minutes of hellish pain because it went again as I was getting in the car. Ah well, all again tomorrow.xx
I’m so glad you enjoyed your ‘midnight’ feast. It sounds deliciously wicked. Your layouts are lovely and it’s good you could escape for some crafty therapy.
Happy WOYWE
Hugs

Fabulous layouts, m'dear. Very you. The middle of the night scoffing sounds just the thing to lift the spirits, especially after a day of sifting thru the ashes. Big hugs to you both and may you soon have all this in your rear view mirror, with only lovely days ahead.
A little late, but Happy WOYWW anyway!

Happy WOYWW! Susan #9
Hi Julia, thanks for the visit to mine. I did see Mary Anne's method for storing the paper scraps. I've tried all kinds of ways butwhat I really need is to use them up. I'm good at collecting them but not so good at remembering to use them. Hope things are looking up. Hugs Angela xXx
