There's a lot of the regular GKW/stuff and a whole lot of nothing go on. Gentle desker, I haven't made a single Christmas card. I don't even know if I can legitimately add 'yet' to that sentence. Mojo is missing. At this rate I'll have forgotten how to stamp! The cute Christmas stickers are waiting; I thought they would make fun seals for envelopes so there's a demonstration of intent! You can just see at left, the strings of some Kraft tags that I stamped and decorated in January. Tags are so useful and yet are overlooked in this house, so I made a few. Glad I did, because early wrapping and despatching has occurred. You can also see a background stamp , I had an idea that it would make a nice light plaid background for some of my Christmas images. Since it arrived I haven't tried it, but it's ready and probably more willing than I! It will be lovely to catch up with you, I've no doubt that you will be jaw droppingly busy and inspiring. A second picture by way of wanting to share some loveliness....I know it's meant really to accent other flowers, but I love Gypsophilia and this bunch of coloured blooms makes me think of cherry blossom every time I look at it.
I was trying out Portrait Lighting on my phone which is why the kitchen worktop looks so moody!

Good to see you but not so good to hear mojo has gone off piste!
Your 'desk of good intentions' is looking good and I am intrigued by the carton/tumbler on the left which has something on top of it. It's the thing on top that has been curious.
Love the gyps.

Lovely thoughts about the gypsophilia- I can only remember it being one of my mum's least favourite flowers! I am very behind with all Christmas preparations - where has this year gone? Happy WOYWW! Susan #7
Hi Julia , good to see you . I love the gyps, so pretty. I may have prepped some cards but no gifts bought except one. Happy woyww, Helen #2
Just buy some cards, the world will still keep turning….no point in forcing yourself to create something when your heart’s not in it. I do really adore that Gyp (as my dear old Ma used to call it) and the Portrait Lighting is fab, reminds me of the Georgina Hughes photos we have in the house - moody and gorgeous 🥰 Bit like me?? Don’t answer that…..
Hugs LLJ 4 xx
Good to see you joining in the fun this week. I agree with Jan...just go out and buy some cards...life is for living :-)
Hugs,

That photo of the Gyp is lovely. It looks like a still life painting. I'm with Jan on the C cards. Don't stress about it. Buy some and then you can look forward to s bit of crafting of your choice when mojo returns. Max came today to say she needs 24 workshop packs for next Thursday so that will keep me out of mischief for a couple of days..😀x x Jo 🌈
I agree with Jan, support a local artist or a charity and buy some cards. The gypsophilia is beautiful and very well lit.
Take care and happy WOYWW

Hi Julia. It's entirely up to you whether you make cards or not there's no harm in having a rest from it, just do what suite you. The flowers look lovely. Wishing you a very happy woyww. Hugs Angela x10x
The flowers are so pretty, I didn’t know you could get coloured gypsophilia. There is no shame in buying a few cards, there are so many beautiful ones in the shops. I had to buy my husband a birthday card as I had forgotten his birthday card and I didn’t bring any craft stuff this time. Back home on Saturday then straight into Christmas season! Happy WOYWW. Sorry your mojo has disappeared Julia. I have made very few Christmas cards and most of them were samples. I will be donating to charity rather than sending cards again this year I think. The cost of postage is extortionate now. Happy belated WOYWW. Sarah
I have SO had that feeling of forgetting how to stamp!! I have been doing so much mixed media, collaging, etc that I rarely stamp anymore, so I feel you girl! hope your Mojo returns soon, Have a wonderful week! Lindart #15
Creativity in hibernation, that's okay too, especially when we're busy with other things.
I have those same stickers, they're from Tiger I think? They'll be around next year, and bought Christmas cards or no cards is also okay if you ask me. Stay sane and take care of yourself.
I've not made any Christmas cards either, although I have been art journaling still. One more month to go and I will have done a page a day for the year and have 12 little journals to show for it - phew. Then maybe just maybe I'll get back to scrapping, you used to inspire me in that department too. Do what you need to for you, it will all work out. Hugs BJ#12
Lovely to see you, no matter how inspiring (or not) you think your desk is. You've inspired us all for so many years, you have credit in the bank :D I agree, pale plais would be lovely. Why not just stamp it on any scrap and see? Maybe seeing it will awaken your mojo. And you know what? If it doesn't, no matter. Sometimes, missing mojo is just telling you to rest up. Big happy holiday hugs!
Catching up from WOYWW day!
