Her family have announced that Sarah’s funeral will be on the 9th November, 11am at Stafford Crematorium. Lynne has enquired about whether the service will be streamed, Sarah’s son has said that he will post details closer to the day. He is posting on Sarah’s Facebook page and Lynne is updating us on the WOYWW Messenger thread. Thanks Lynne.
Back then, to normal form and trivia chez Dunnit. This is Tuesday evening’s desk, totally unchanged until at least tomorrow…no getting back to it today. I am fully aware of how lucky I am to be able to leave my desk mid action. There is a downside to this luxury though, gentle Desker. It means I rarely clear up, as if I need to say that; you have seen evidence of that over the years! This run of scrapbooking has been lovely, specially over last weekend when the clocks and the weather truly conspired against us!
It does look pretty much the same as last week, I realise, just a different page in the making. There are a few interesting bits though…the cup with the straw - my attempt at correcting my very bad hydration habit. Not as good as it looks though, it’s about a third full of squash and is untouched since last week. Oops. To the far left is what looks, according to Mr Dunnit, like a row of bones. Nothing sinister, just a hairband! You can’t see it, but at the right front edge of my desk is one of those cup holders with a bin. Literally right where I need it, not even the full arm’s reach. Both cup holder and cute dangling rubbish bag are empty. It would seem that the gap between what I’m working on and the difficult-to-see guillotine is a far better place to leave it all. Weird huh.
And so there, share your little bit of craft haven, rubbish and all, please! Link to your blog post and helpfully, include WOYWW in your title. Thanks ever so. See you in a minute.

It was good to hear Sarah's family are planning for the service to be streamed, us workers may be able to catch it on replay! I like your desk today with the strips of paper for the latest layout. My craft haven rarely gets tidied either which given it is the living room floor would be awkward if I had visitors.... of the physical kind! Happy WOYWW Helen xx
I was amused to read that your rubbish bin is empty... my scraps pile up alongside the guillotine and on my desk!! Happy WOYWW! Susan xx
Happy WOYWW!
Aiming for visits on the day for a change :D
Hydration is tricky. I got a large thermal mug ( the Lidl version of a Stanley mug, I think) and it keeps my drinks COLD. I'm a lot more likely to drink it if it's cold :) Love your row of bones. I hate crafting when my hair is hanging in my face (not a chance of that nowadays, but still...) so yeah. Thought the middle was a backgammon board on first glance :D Glad to hear the funeral is streamed but I have both a Drs appt at (wait for it) 10:55. I'll see how it goes but not optimistic. Typical. Life is full of conflicts of time at the moment.

It's good to see your desk in action. I have a large drinks container to use for hydration too....it got used a lot in the heat but not so much now. Have a great week.
Hugs,

Good update, thanks. I see what Mr D means about the bones...perfect for this week but your right as they are good hairbands and hair in face when crafting can get annoying. Kyla #6
I realize how lucky I am to have a room to myself where I can leave my seeing out and just walk away and shut the door. I just never think to take a photo of it! I do like to snap bits and bobs that I've been working on so luckily have something to post on WOYWW. x x Jo π
It’s great to have the excuse of the shonky weather so you can snuggle up in your workroom and craft away without feeling bad about doing so! It looks like you’ve been enjoying your scrapbooking and you made me laugh about your empty bin, it’s all on your desk lol! π

Oh look you've got me wondering if you can see any kind of a bin on my desk shot...nope. I have a 2 step paper function. Is it plain and big enough for scrap put it in the scrap file top right of photo, else pop it in the convenient old plastic food container on the right side before moving to large cereal box under desk...Not done any scrapping for nearly a year but patterned scraps go in coloured files the other side of room. There's more but as you can see by now I'm pretty organised dare I say obsessed LOL. OK back to your desk loving the stripy look, you've nearly got me itching to get back to scrapping. One minor issue is ordering printed photos! Outstanding since January oh my life. Hugs Bj#9
You are not alone in having little piles not in the ... bin, Julia ππ€ͺ I have a cardboard box to collect it in at my feet ... verrrry rarely does it make it ππ as I create! I think it's a crafter thing π
I see the bones (hairband)your hubby speaks of .. that too made me smile ... it's always a joy to visit your desk π I zoom in everytime πππ€ Wishing you a beautiful day ahead ⭐️✨️⭐️
P.S apologies in advance for my longish post ππ my thoughts ruled my fingers as they typed this morning ππ #11
Hello Julia, I so enjoyed seeing your desk today. It reminds me that what I should be doing is making scrap pages. Using paper strips is one of my favourite backgrounds. I see the bones - I don't think I'd have realised it was a hairband without Mr D's observation. I'm pretty bad at hydrating too. Yes, I drink many cuppas during the day, but rarely drink water - mainly because I don't like it. I've just been out to rescue the big green tool box which got blown over to a neighbours garden. It's one of Silver's resting places so absolutely had to be saved! Happy WOYWW and have a great week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #13
Glad to see your desk today, Julia! Im looking forward to seeing what you make with your paper strips. My mobile data has held out for me to do all my comments, just about! Thanks for everyone’s good wishes.
Happy WOYWW
