What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 879

Well last week I wrote a post and forgot to publish it. This week I’ll schedule it and try hard not to forget to link it. Seriously, I wish I could find someone to blame…..!

Oh gosh, I found myself needing a sympathy card. It caused me, out of some weird respect, to tidy up and make it in a decent environment. No bad thing, but definitely not how I usually make a card ‘au last minute’, as y’all know! Still, having excavated the desk it may see a bit of action at last…I’ve got some scrapbook layouts that need to be titled and have the odd embellishment added before putting them in the album, so I think that’ll be next. Hope you all enjoyed some down time over the Easter weekend, the weather has been 48 hours of sunshine which I must say has done my inner sun seeker a whole amount of good!

Catch up with us all at Sarah’s to enjoy more desks and chatter. What’s not to like?!

I have loads of cards but always end up making another at the last minute because I can't find just the right one so it's not just you. Good to see you back at the desk even if it's out of necessity Lol! Sending big woyww hugs, Angela x5x

I always have a stash of sympathy cards - they are the one card I always seem to need and really struggle to make on the fly. Yours looks like a keeper, for inspiration. Luckily I still have a few and hoping I won't need them for a long, long time! Sunny today, out for lunch with my Knitters, so YAY! Happy WOYWW!

Sorry to hear that your need for a card was a sad one. It seems that as we get older we need more of them. The sunshine makes us all feel happier.
Hugs,
Annie x

A handmade sympathy card is such a lovely thing to send and will be so appreciated I'm sure - well worth a little tidying session too. Another day basking in sunshine - it is so uplifting and I saw my first swallow yesterday. x x Jo 🌈

That’s a lovely card and very suitable for purpose, we use a photo of bluebells that G took in Savernake eons ago. Glad you had a good Easter, we did too and the sunny weather has definitely lifted spirits. Hope you’re all ok,
Hugs LLJ 1 xx
