What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 701

Well, here we go Gentle Deskers, into the seven hundreds!
I’m doing the five minutes here and there thing, the use up odd card sizes thing, the use up odd numbers of card thing, and the use stamps you really like thing. It’s not hard but oh boy, it makes a mess!
I stamped the folksy Christmas tree on to the last 6 of the skinny pearly cream cards whilst I was waiting for my very s l o w PC to gather itself this morning. I did PC work, a couple of chores and went out for some exercise. Coloured the trees whilst munching my lunch and stamped the images on the purple card. I’ve had to think hard about these images, I stamped some in black on white card at the weekend and spent quite some time colouring a few of them. They didn’t work for me, ended up looking like 3 Kings dressed in patchwork quilts, so am keeping it relatively simple at the mo. Whilst waiting for our supper to cook last night, I coloured them despite thinking initially that I wouldn’t. I hope all of this gives you a slight understanding of how my desk gets so untidy and how my mind is erm, working! The coffee is going down nicely this morning, but it’s still too cold and dark to sit about colouring, so I’ll just look forward to seeing your desks for now!

One or two bits done re my Christmas card making but only because of workshops I have attended or done earlier in the year. Must get down to it but it's the special ones that I need to get to grips with, the others can be done quickly but there will be colouring no doubt.
Well done you on the production - I lost yesterday morning (got hooked on The Pact and binge watched).
Hugs, Neet 3 xx

I am always in awe of your card making. You make it all sound so easy and yet they turn our so beautiful. I agree with H! Speedy is best, especially with life as crazy as it is!

Good Morning, your 1st paragraph is what my desk is all about for most of this month. But no Christmas, I'm really enjoy the Tiny art..I found in making my backgrounds "purple" the "coloring" wasn't at all what I wanted I did 1 ready for next week. I might try (distress colors) blending it with water.
Have a great week.

The gold and purple 3 kings are my fav, you’ve got a proper production line going on. Bit like me and sunglasses cases, seems to speed up the process though.

Hi Julia, I think our crafting is very similar at the moment. I got out loads of half done and left over card fronts yeasterday with the intention of using them up this year so fingers crossed as I am also being distracted by some new ideas so we'll see. Have a lovely creative woyww. Hugs, Angela x14x

I craft exactly the same way Julia, while doing other things… think of idea so do it, etc. like everyone else love the purple and lime green with gold embossed, really looks great, I’d cut it with a bit of a purple border perhaps if card size accommodates that.
I’ve batch baked this year, almost made my 75 need five more. Thought of idea for another smaller batch bake tonight saw on another blog, brilliant simple and perfect, so you’ll see it on my blog eventually.
I love that your Christmas card is really Christmas too. I’ve been amazed how US folk have gone right away from it.. I think from observation it’s the supply houses new releases omitting it in their new releases more than anything.

Am in awe that you’ve done 701 WOYWW too, dear Queen of Desks. Such an accomplishment. I might save that colour scheme as an idea for next year too if my brain can cope with the strain πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Thanks for Sharing, God bless and and all those you love, hugs Shaz in Oz.x # 6 I think.

Oh no the Christmas thing! I haven't got my head round that yet at all. Just know it will be our first without our son home nor for his birthday 4 days before either, oh my! Your cards are looking lovely though, well done. BJ#15

It must be nice to have a desk nearby enough to do 5 min here and there! I generally have to block out a few hours to work on my art. Good for you for starting Christmas Cards - I keep thinking I should, then don't! Have a great week, Lindart #17
