What's On Your Workesk? Wednesday 503

My desk is a visual 'to-do' list. I spent some time last night doing a bit of sorting. Not tidying up type sorting, no no. Perish the thought!  Sorting things so that I can keep my creative momentum up. On the left, my folder of metal dies. I need to flick through them and make sure that the one I've promised to lend to a friend is not in fact, a figment of my imagination!  In the middle, a small pile of 15 or so scrapbook pages I've made since the beginning of December. They need to go in the album, but I was waiting for some decent light first, so I could photograph them.(They make great decoy pics on this blog when I'm dong the blah blah and have ne relevant photos!) I did that on Tuesday morning in a rare half hour of sunshine. Under my Bluetooth speaker is a plastic sleeve containing samples for a workshop. They need to be delivered to the Shopkeeper Gal. All these chores will be done today, thanks to my organising yesterday. By the way - that isn't snow outside. It's a blue tarpaulin covering some building stuff or equipment. I know not what. Can't remember!
Show and tell please, we like it when you do.

we had a smattering of wet snow last night but on top of rain so it didn't settle ; thankfully. Your desk looks very full but I hope that you are able to make space to craft soon.

Morning Julia. Can't imagine how come I be No. 1 - took me ages to remember how to fill in Mr Linky. Such are the vagaries to the brain of anaesthetic!! Your to-do-list-desk looks considerably more active than my extremely bare desk - didn't even dare photograph my whole desk - just too much white space:-)
Take care. God bless.

Oooh, such a busily interesting desk... I'm trying this new year, to NOT make my desk a 'visual to-do list' (love that phrase!), but it's not easy, is it??
Happy WOYWW, dear Julia :)

You’re doing well, Julia, you’ve a “to do” list. Mine is rather vacuous at the moment.
At the moment I’ve two desks one being my craft desk which is mostly bare and the other the dining table which is mostly full, basically because it’s coooler there.
No sign of snow here in Oz, nor sadly of much needed rain for that matter yes, my memory constantly needs refreshing as to what I think I have and what I DO have.
I’m impressed you’ve your dies in one folder. Mine are in folders and boxes. Kinda disorganised really. One day...

Hi Julia, Well I love your way of organising. At least when you can see things, it prompts you to do something.

Well there’s snow outside my window this morning....and I wasn’t expecting it cos it wasn’t there last night! Brrrrrr. It looks like we both have jobs lined up on our desk today but I will guarantee mine won’t get done today unlike yours. Have a good week my friend.
Hugs,

Ditto to the Sorting. It is what I've been doing a lot of ! BUT seems it never ends. But I find things I haven't used and I am trying to make use and clear up scrap papers. I love that big wreath on your black page. Stay warm and Happy WOYWW

It's great to witness the result of someone crafting like crazy, lol! You go on carrying the craft flag for us all, doing a grand job!

The only sorting I’ve been doing is working out how to get photos to my blog as things have changed on the technical side of blogging at Blog Pro. Don’t ask Julia, I’m not a bit knowledgeable and just press buttons until something happens. Hopefully I’ve pressed the right ones haha

Hi Julia. Besides dealing with phone calls/ messages re mum, looking after household type stuff, a bit of crafting I am sorting, sorting but it's very slow going!
Today supposed to be visiting a grumpy Aunt :-( , after lunch out. It is snowy out and don't relish going outdoors now! Anne X @16

Hi Julia, looks dark out there but maybe it's early. I've had a bit of a lie in this morning as we were late getting back from visiting parents and it's all white here though not as much as it was last week in the other part of the world. But the sun's coming out too. Sorting, just has to be done sometimes but I just keep putting it off Lol! Have a great woyww, Angela x17x

Well, I am sorry but I seem to have mucked up the system again this week, largely because Blogger flatly refuses to change the link it has assigned to today's post. We have just a light covering of snow here in Worcestershire, but it sure is cold. You do seem to have a lot going on so I hope you succeed in getting it all done and avoid the snow. xx Maggie (Silvercrafter) #18

Hi Julia, thats an impressive pile of lay outs there. Lol at the die being a figment of your imagination. I've done that before, searching for ever for a die I was sure I'd bought, but in the end, clearly hadn't. Had a small sprinkling of snow yesterday evening, but it froze really hard overnight. Love & hugs, Shaz XxX

May not be joining in again today as my desk is still a huge void of nothing. But I have hopped around a few desks & loved seeing all that is going on. Xxx

Yay for organising Julia! Hope you get every 'task' done easy because of it. And yes, I thought it was snow outside as we had snow here yesterday... it's melting away right now and I guess that was all the snow we got to see this winter. It was nice though! Have a great week, hug from Holland. Marit #20

Hi Julia, YAY for getting some daylight to shoot the photos, I love what you did with the leaf framing on the top one. and I smiled over the no snow, ( we don't have any at the moment either when we do get some it melts or then rain follows it)

Had this been yesterday, Julia, it would have been snow outside my window, but today it's frost - just as white but a whole lot colder. That's a lovely pile of layouts you've made - very productive. Hope you found the die and it's not something you just dreamed you had! Have a great week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #29

Go you on organizing your To Do! No snow here, either. The 4 inches we got over the past weekend was washed away yesterday by 'winter' rain. Now it's just flat cold but I have the wood burner going. House is toasty. Creative Blessings! Kelly #32ish

Very belated return visit for your comment on my blog on 16th Jan, so looking at your desk there, I quite enjoy sorting stuff to "make it easier to find craft materials". I also identify with the problem of imagining owning a specific die, home you really did have the one to lend to your friend.
No post this week, away next week, must try harder in Feb!
