Well, mine feels relatively unchanged to be honest. And acts as proof that if you pile enough stuff on it, you can use the stuff as a work surface without any problem! So I've wrapped up a couple of bits for posting and used the marker and ruler to draw some charts for Mr Dunnit...and spent a few quiet minutes cleaning off a stamp or two - Stazon cleaner at right. And cleaned off my scissors...at left. And made no decisions about the apparent 'pile' at the back..yet. All this on top of the Really Useful Box I collected yesterday. This is the clear stamp storage. It's deep enough to hold loads...it's shallow enough to fit where it's going and it's the best I can do...laminated sleeves neatly loaded with stamps and stored in file sleeves just doesn't work for me. Renders them inaccessible and renders me absolutely pathetic when it comes to putting them away. I'd rather rummage through a box! So I'm going to deliberately STAIN each image with black Stazon (so I can see what it is!!) and then chuck 'em in the box...you can't say the style doesn't suit me. We all know that would just be kind words..really, and I know 96% of you are horrified by this as an solution. It's OK though, cos I'm in the 4%!
Go on then, spill. What's going on at your workspace this week. Put WOYWW in the title and link your Wednesday desk photo here. The visiting will be slow, but visits you will get...it doesn't matter if you link at No1 or No 150, promise! No blatant advertising please!

Sounds like a plan to me honey
Happy WOYWW to you Julia! It looks like your desk is getting much use in the new year! I have those same plasic boxes but mine have wide open spaces inside - wonderful for storing whatever I can fit into them! :-)

Hi Julia,
Happy woyww!!
Your desk looks already organized!
Hugs Marleen ;-)
Well if it works for you then use it hun!Thats what i say.Why clean your stamps and then re stamp to put in the storage box...didnt get that...lol.You cleaning stamps never heard of,just stamp the stazon ontop be a devil save time..lol
Have creative wednesday
judex8
I'm not horrified at all, I'm in the same 4%.
Except mine are in drawers instead of boxes. Still rummage-able though!
Ho ho an i-pad on top of a really useful box. The boxes are my absolute favourite. Not sure about Stazon on clear stamps though...
Hugs Joanne xx
Any flat surface can become a workspace! I like your idea for storing stamps (shhh...don't tell the 96%), my wooden mounted ones are in a big box like that!
I used to be in that 96%, but I am now in the 4% who totally agree with you. After I tried to clean some clear stamps at Christmas, I realized they don't clean completely, anyway, so why not make sure you can SEE what you want to stamp. However, some people suggested that Staz-on, if left on your stamps, did something bad to the stamps. Be prepared to read that from at least someone today!
I'm just thrilled to be back and loving every second of it.
I'm with you Julia. My room looks neat but you should see the pile behind me. The only way to find anything is to rummage and that way you find more things you had forgotten about. You wouldn't get that in neat folders.
Have a great week, I'm sitting on the patio with the laptop in 36C deg heat, going back in the pool in a minute.
Thats a good idea to stain your UMs with stazon so you can see it, obviously you dont use light colours inks LOL. I agree stuff stashed up is easier to find than a clean desk
Bridget #17
I am most definitely fond of piling! I found this acrylic box and used it for a while until it found its way on the botom of a very fat pile and I couldn't use the stuff inside it easily anymore! Happy WOYWW!
I can see you're working along at a fabulous speed....my kinda speed! All in good time is what I say! Do I see an I-pad? Oh Julia, lucky you!
LOL - sounds like my drawer units. Just stick a label on the front, and rummage away....
I am definitely a "put them in a box" type of storage. Not sure about the stazon and clear stamp, will be interesting to hear what others comment. I do like that i-pad.
i'm not sure about your 4% statistic. surely there are more of us? happy staining!
hugs,
peggy aplSEEDS
I think your storage solution is great and may have to pinch that idea! I have made plastic sleeved books for my clear stamps and now I forget that I actually have any so I think I am in your 4% as I need to be able to see stuff to use it!!
Storage?? Tish Pish... you're a Rummager, is ever I saw one :-) xx
Oooh now your desk does look fun to have a rummage on!!
Hugs
Leanne xx
I like the box..I've several all for different things. Someone told me they take a plain paper, stamp the stamps on it and tape it to the box and then they know what's inside. Maybe would save me from buying duplicates too.
Next sale time I might buy 1 for each holiday too.
12x12 papers fit inside also and they stack great.
Have fun Enjoy WOYWW
I agree, stazOn is great to make your clear stamp visible :) But why you want to clean them first???
Have a great Wednesday! Hugs, kissinia
I love your quiet pile! It is just one of those burdens that we must sometimes bare... crafting on or arround your pile! I think stazon might work. Good luck with that. Hopefully they wont be too dark to see through. One must always think outside the box!- Amanda
This is the first time I am joining WYOWW. I know I will be back because I LOVE seeing how others work :) Thank you for hosting such a fun meme!
Celestial Things
hello fellow 4%er!!! Now I have an excuse for stayz-on stained stamps....its so I can find them all dumped in 5 (yep 5!) drawers!!!!!
Kyla
I love your storage box and if it works for you, then it's the right way to do it! Your scissor pile seems to be multiplying...or is that just an illusion!
I am almost with in the 4%, I certainly can't do binders and store mine in a box, it's just the stazon bit I have problems with, though it would help, a lot! Maybe I will try it but in a different colour :-)
My desk was fairly stable this week too. I do have plastic holders like this that I store holiday stamps like Christmas, Halloween, Easter...so much easier to find them or specific embellies! Contained Clutter LOL!
Oh blimey I am inthe 96%, and scrub my stamps and am a bit weird and like them to look clean , even tough I know the ink does no damage....we all have ourweird little ways,!!don't get them all clean by the way and soon chill about it! Happy woyww hugs trace x
Right, beginning to feel like the world is back to normal after Christmas, New Year and Now Back to School. I would not cope with a box of stuff to scratch through, I must admit...mine are in sleeves in a box and it is still a scratch, though a much less time consuming one...let us know how it works...
I'm with you on the need to rummage Julia. I refuse to sort my ribbons too much because I just love rummaging through them :-)
Hugs,
A x
PS Don't forget to pop over to my blog to make your guess and join in the celebration fun if you haven't already.....and good luck
Good Morning to you Julia, and you have my FAVOURITE boxes in the world on your desk.. in fact I could say I am in lurve with them, as am permanently surrounded by them... your desk looks much neater and more organised thn mine :))
have a great day
x
I hear so many echoes of my own situation in your posts Julia - am hopeless if things aren't accessible and terrible at putting things away. I have to stop every few days because it gets intolerable. Word of advice though - that box might work as an extra work top now but once you've put the stamps in you will ALWAYS want to get to it if it's under your current piece of work (been there, got the T shirt....)
I love your organizational idea for the stamps. If there weren't so darn many laws here in the states regarding copyright etc I would do it that way to. Angel laws I think they call them! Love all the goodies on your desk...especially that iPad! I am so envious! Thanks for sharing and have a great week! Vickie #50
My Kinda storage! its how my clear Penny Balcks are stored only diff is they're stuck to a random bit of lamiated card about the right size (or not) so they dont stick to ech other!
Mrs C {charlie-lou} xx
Hi This is the first time I am joining in with WOYWW, stumbled across it last week and have been hooked ever since. Im still having trouble finding storage solutions got all my craft stuff so great seeing how others do it. x
Oh I'm the 4% crew!!, rummaging is so much better!! And the storage box, well I have shed loads, all filled to the brim, disorganised as well, though I have made a start labeling each box, but really I need my dad to pull his finger out and finish my Craft desk for me!!
Just chatting about stamp storage here yesterday too, and decision was shallow shelves on the wall...but being crafty in a portacabin, am pretty sure every time I open/close the door the whole lot would fall off said wall domino styley...still scratching my head and using boxes/drawers for now!
Julia! It's a hoot that you're using the box as an actual workspace. But it's true. All kinds of things can be used to work on. I always refer to the finding things (meaning where to specifically look to find things) as whatever 'layer' it would be found in. So the first layer is stuff that was placed 1-2 days ago and the second layer say 4 days ago and 3 layers down more than a week. This is the 'jargon' I use with my daughter. So if I'm finding something for her in her studio she will say (for example) "mom, it's on the 2nd shelf in the stack of colored papers at about layer three." That way I know exactly where to look. This works very well for us. I like your solution to what works for you in terms of storing stamps. *smiles* Norma
LOL! Storage! The perennial problem! I use the really useful boxes too and they live up to their name. Problem is I keep filling them up and now I need somewhere to put them! Perhaps a really large really useful box, one the size of a craft room LOL! Kimx
That's a great idea for stamp storage - I don't have many but it's quick, neat and simple: perfect!
Dear Queen of WOYWW and Trends, well first of all Julia - how are the toothy pegs of last weeks WOYWW? hope and pray all on mend, am on antibiotic for mine.
Now I personally think your method of storing unmounted stamps is absolutely brilliant and would probably adopt it except a lot of mine are not clear, but rubber ez-mount and so when upside down would all look the same...thanks for sharing and putting the idea out there. Happy WOYWW! Shaz in Oz.x. #30
Am still in the 4% with you here Julia - one bit would like to be much more organised, the other bit looks at the load of stamps to tackle if I go for filing and thinks 'Sheesh, that would take a load of valuable crafting time to do'!! Happy WOYWW! Di xx
I like a good rummage, especially when there are stamps involved. Try to organise mine as I have so many and have tried ring-binders, folders, index sheets -the lot - but end up throwing them into one of my Really Useful Boxes. If ever a product was well-named then these are they. My problem is I have so many of the boxes (7 of the smaller than shoe-box size for stamps alone) that I need to organise those as well.
Happy WOYWW

I'm on the fence on this one.... I love the RUBS, I have all my papers and cardstock etc in them, lots of them! I have my stamps on my Expedit, in a wicker basket so I don't have to make sure things fit but the lid still closes! The UMs are on their bits of acetate mostly. Do they not stick together other wise? Let me know, it might help me! See you next week ;-)
I LOVE your stamp idea!!! Let us know if it works for you once you've tried it, because I just might have to be a copycat and try it that way too!!!
Happy WOYWW!!!

Well I think that my desk will make you feel much better about you desk!!! As for stamps, I have a pile under the giant pile you see that have been waiting for approx 6 months to be cleaned!!!
I love those boxes, I have 34 of them holding different types of craft. I am definitely in the 96% and like mine laminated in files, but it's whats best for you. Sometimes I look at storage solutions on blogs, but when I have a go it doesn't tend to work for me, so I have resigned to the fact that doing my own thing is best lol. I agree with your working on stash, it's quite easy to craft on top of craft, I do it all the time lol. Kezzy x
would it surprise you to know I'm in the 4% and my unmounteds stamps are spread about my room, some in folders, some in drawers, this is why I still prefer wood mounts - they are a decoration to the room in and of themselves, objects d;art; unmounted seem somehow unfinished and unattractive? but of course undeniably cheaper to manufacture and therefore more commercially viable, and we now pay as much for them as we once did for wood, God I'm in a foul mood.....i probably need a damn good mounting (where is the Mr D when one needs him?)
I LOVE Really Useful Boxes, i have lots!!!
I hate having stamps were you can't see them, I'm lucky enough to have a whole wall of shelves where my mounted stamps live, and despite the thousands of unmounteds i also have, you can guarantee its a mounted image I will use most of the time. Simply because I can see it without rumaging around in the unmounted files!
Happy WOYWW!!
Oh Julia . . . you are a tonic. I love your posts.
I say . . . use whatever works for YOU xxx
I love giving my scrap room a good tidy up and putting everything back in its place - I just don't love it often enough! It's a mess at the moment but just can't face it right now, I would much rather be crafting. Happy WOYWW!
Hello, this is my first time joining in with WOYWW. Am going to have a peek round your desks now! Zo x
Looking forward to seeing your stamp box full
Hurrah for the 'chuck em in a box' solution! Mine are the same but in box files so that just a little bit of sorting takes place, otherwise I have so many I would spend too long trying to find the one I wanted.
** Kate **
I remember the first time I used Stazon Ink and what it did to my stamps. I was horrified. These days.....not so much! I love that you actually admitted that!
I love boxes to store crafty goodies in, however my stamps are in boxes, and I can never find the one I'm looking for without a long search x x such is life x good luck Julie, Hugs May x x x x
Yay for another WOYWW!! Glad to be back!! :)

Lisa's Craft Blog
Nice and tidy here....no cleaning fairies in my craft room....major clean up will commence today...maybe I'll just have a large cup of tea to get me moving?!
Ooh the box idea for storing the stamps sounds a good one to me! I have all my stamps in a drawer to rumage through, infact everything is stored that way! dies, ribbons, gems, they all have their own drawer but what's in there is just "in there" not in any kind of arrangement! x
Hi Julia, its been so long since i joined in on a Wednesday so im looking forward to having a good snoop around everybody's blogs this evening!
I want to be in the 4% with you, but I cant make myself-so put that stazon in the bin, right now!
Maria x
Thank you for another interesting lookie around blog land xx
Cor... fab idea Julia, staining clear stamps... and I am with you.. easy to rummage than flip thru a file... mine are in baskets lol I have my confessional mess on my blog now... tis beyond help... oh and some candy too... Happy New YEar (belatedly... missed last weeks!) Hels xx
That seems a perfectly sensible way to store clear stamps to me! Stained and in a box. I guess I'm in the 4% too!
How did I not notice you started last week? I guess I must have stayed away from the computer. Lovely to see you haven't turned over a new leaf for 2012 and gone tidy or something silly!
Good morning, I cant believe I finally managed to join in again!!! Love the new look blog.
Hugs Pam x
I have a similiar plastic box that I keep all my tools in...scissors, glue, glue gun....etc. I started using it about a year ago and it really helps because I force myself put everything back into it and then I can find stuff.
Oh the never ending what to do with unmounted clear stamps - I keep them in their original packaging and the other day I got so frustrated when pushing them in a box I cut off the half of the packaging....I would honestly go mad if I had dirty stamps but I guess that is the only solution for clear ones...I honestly buy less and less these days - rubber and wood is my forte!
Love your posts - always gets us thinking about solutions!
Lots of hugs,
Cardarian
Finally made it again :)
You know me and my stamps Julia, all neatly put into ring binders and filed on a shelf! But I know this is not for everyone, in fact I am the only person I know who does it! I knew I had to have a tidy streak in me somewhere, I just keep it VERY well smothered :)
I love RUBs and have several of them. Most of my clear stamps are in a tall A4 one and that works for me :o)
If the "just chuck it in" system works for you, go for it, Julia. It doesn't matter how you store them as long as you can find them when you need them. I like that system for most things but it has to be ringbinders for my stamps, I get so frustrated if I can't lay my hands on them straight away and that's not a pretty sight I can assure you.
Happy WOYWW
Hugs Lisax #99
lol! You sound very much on my wavelength, with the chuck 'em in a box idea!! Claire #99
We all have good intentions when it comes to tidying! Seems to be a bit of a theme at this time of year. Off to visit a few more desks.
Jakix
Julia, you are my kinda lady when it comes to storage solutions ;) That's exactly what I do with my stamps - wasn't bright enough to think of staining them but lobbed in an RUB they are. My most favourite and most used ones are in a little carry case (that once held make-up, that was evicted sharpish) and they are kept in my drawer under my desk. The rest are on the shelves in that RUB. Does the job.
Julia, I cannot work out how you manage to visit everyone and still get work and crafting done. You are definitely a Superwoman. I can't wait to see how your new stamp storage works for you. Mine are in a mix of storage. Some in plastic sleeves, some in their original packets in a drawer, and the Clarity ones in a drawer and two Really Useful boxes. I think I am still sitting on the fence, waiting to find the "perfect" solution. xx Maggie #105 (at the moment)
Your desk looks like a lot of fun to me, but then I haven't seen it for a few weeks! at least you're not storing everything on the floor like I am!
LoL! Good luck with your box! While I'm in the 4% for doing that with my embelishments; and have used dumping it out as a creative block-breaker...I have to say, I'd probably never use a stamp from there...probably also why shopping at clearance racks drives me nuts, while my sister-in-law comes home with $3 jeans!
Hi Julie the white thing on the side of my desk is one of those ottlite lamps, they are so good, hope this helps, Hugs May x x x
LOL! I love that you are using the piles AS your work surface! Been there!!! LOL!
I used to be much more organized, but the older I get, the more I realize it's about what makes me happy and works for me. So if "stained" rubber stamps thrown in a box works, I say go for it!!
Hi Julia, All that stamp and scissor cleaning sounds very industrious ... and you have a solution for your clear stamps too. Your really useful box looks the ideal solution. Filing stamps into ring binders sounds great in theory but, after giving it a try, I have to admit that in practice it's just not for me. Couldn't bring myself to do the Stazon thing though - love the smell, hate the stain it makes :) Elizabeth x #96
so sorry, linked 115 wrong, can you delete it for me?
good idea to stain your clear images, great tip!
Happy WOYWW! Debxx
That is so true. I find myself working right over top of the pile sometimes and it works just fine, LOL! Happy WOYWW! --Meechelle #114
Seems there are rather s lot of us trying to squeeze into that 4%. Hugs Mrs A.
Sorry I have not woywwed this week but thought I would drop by .... what a great idea ...I'm in the 4% ...but then you would have guessed that lol xx
Ashamed WOYWW backslider... checkin' in!
Yikes, I'm No.123 this week.......I'm a bit slow of the mark.....must remember to post earlier next week. Anways.....a desk like yours is way more fun than a tidy one. Working on a three inch square of desk always makes it interesting!!!!
Well Honey - it is your play room so you have it how YOU want it!! What works for you is what is important ey!
Sorry I am late but seemed to have some ickey bug earlier today :-( Hopefully it has gone now!
I can clear the Ipad for you - no, oh well can't blame me for a trying. I reckon if you lift that box away you have a very clear surface. Are you trying to confund us into a thinking you have a messy desk when really it is somewhat clear.......
Maybe you could place a big board on top of your really useful box and have a sort of double decker work space? :) Glad you're stock finding a way to work!
Despite the box the desk seems rather clear to what you normally have on it...don't tidy too much otherwise we won't recognise it LOL
Toni xx
First time joining in and loving seeing what everybody is up to. Not sure about the stamp storage, I'm in the 96% I'm afraid! But hey, whatever works for you!
Hey! If it works for you and no cats were flattened in the process (a "Hoarders" reference) then who are we to criticize? I have to say I like the idea of staining the stamps so you can see what they are better. Indeed I tend to use my previously used clear stamps more often because I can see what they are all about.
Also, my desk is messier today than last week, but really it is just the same stuff just strewn about some more.
Yay, my first time participating :) I'm intrigued by the storage idea. Can't wait to see the outcome, I'm always looking for new ways to store stamps. (sorry for the repost, had a couple of typos in the previous comment :p)
Sorry I did the first bit wrong, no.134 Is correct. Happy W.O.Y.W.W.
hello...
i have placed my first pictures on here today... desk very messy but i still manage to craft on it!
Looking forward to seeing what everyone is up to this week :)
Somehow it seems as if you are in a much larger than 4% category. I shove all my stamps in a drawer, although I do try and put them in their original wrap or a thingie bag first.
Thingie - my mind has gone totally blank. Little plastic bag with a press together top. Universally found and lost at the same time! You all know what I mean. :)
The best way to be organised is so that it works for you no point if doesnt lol - thanks for the nose around again this week
Thank you for hosting WOYWW. It is a fun day.
I love your sister's patterns.
I tried my hand at the Pattern Class, but flunked out. Photoshop did me in !!
I'm new with you, thanks for hosting. Great site you have here!
Best,
Jenn from JustAddWaterSilly.com
Good luck with your storage solution Julia! It sounds like a grand idea, I'm not horrified at all! I do have all my stamps organised, but I have very few of them! I'm off to have tea and then try to get round some blogs, please forgive me I only got round about 30 last week!
I am also new today. Glad to be joining in!
I'm part of the 4% too :) Glad to be back WOYWWing now that I have a new camera. Happy Wednesday!
I am right there with you, preferring the mess over the organized. I can't think straight when things are tidy, not to mention find anything!!
We all like a good rummage through a box - those really useful ones are brill. x Jo
Julia, do what makes you happy - Staz On or Staz off - you decide :-)
And that Ipad looks dangerously neglected on top of your piles, you should send it this way to a loving home lol!
Hugs
Debs ~144
Well, that’s exactly how most of my stamps are stored at the moment Julia but I think I would prefer to find another of storing them really. Folders are ok if you have the shelf room for them all, which I don’t at the moment so I’ll be staying a rummaging gal for some time yet I think.
Thanks for stopping by this week and ……..
Happy Crafting!
Sue

Yikes, don't know the last time I was this low on the totem pole. But you said, number doesn't matter. Hee hee. I am also struggling with the right way to store my clear stamps. I like the Paper Smooches suggestion on their blog's sidebar (a small acrylic box to stand them up in) but how many boxes would I eventually have to have?! Lol. Whatever works for you is what's important, I guess. Have a nice week! *smile*
#145
Storing stamps is always a problem. If it works for you fine. Mine are in sleeves and each sleeve is in a zip lock in a drawer and some are in file boxes labelled.
Happy WOWYY

I'm new today! just found out this fun challenge, here's my desk :) http://fondoblucards.blogspot.com/2012/01/woyww-whats-on-my-desk-right-now.html
Hi Julia after spending most of spare time visiting all desks lask week (my DH thinks I've really flipped now) and then tidying, re arranging I am now starting to make again. I just had to sort out some stuff before making another mess. have managed to lose a stamp in the muddle. My clear stamps are in drawers but are fast outgrowing the space!!
Happy WOYWW Anne x

Hello Julia, Well thats my first attempt , tis really good to see what everyone is doing . I'm looking forward to getting to grips with the Perfect Pearl & adhesive sheet technique ! Enjoy your week .
P
This is my first time participating in the workdesk Wednesday. :) Love seeing what other artists are creating and now I love being a part of this wonderful Wednesday challenge. :)
Oh dear, storage.... I say whatever works for you, go for it! some of my unmounted stamps are in binders and some in drawers. Might be better to throw them all in a box as they at least would be in one spot!
Happy WOYWW!
xoxo Karen #152
Swoon..........you're going to do WHAT with your stamps? Lol! Never mind...won't they stick to each other?....No, I'm not getting involved! :D
Helen S
Hi Julia! I am also trying to figure out what to do with those pesky clear stamps. Nothing seems to be working for me! lol
Yes, stamp storage is a thorny issue. Haven't found any method totally satisfactory yet.
Marilyn
Hmmm, I like those plastic boxes. They're great! The Stazon idea might be a good one, but I'm too OCD not to clean the ink off.
Hello!
You just make me smile! Wishing you a great rest of the week!
Hugs,
Barbara Diane
I say they're your stamps and you should do whatever makes sense to you. :-) I am in the 96%, but very much do understand why neatly organized in binders, etc. doesn't work. That's why my wooden ones are teetering on the windowsill (awaiting my dear husband to hang a shelf for me) and the clear ones are in a metal container right on the table where I can flip through them.
opps! almost missed this I would have hated that! now I have to get busy catching up checking out the other desks
Yep, my Stazon cleaner is near to me, too! :) Thanks for another chance to link up--this is sooo fun! :)
you're confused?
I didnt post magpies corner! havent posted today at all!!
the WOYWW 3rd post down is on yesterdays on the blog!! been a bit busy, and I made it round everyone, so now I dont feel guilty!! now I can take my time and read properly, instaed of stressing!! about missing some, lol
I'm in the 4% too, I was waiting with bated breath to see what your solution would be cos I haven't found one that works for me yet. I'm using an A4 sized version of the DVD case solution, but they don't cling properly and I've somehow contaminated the box with embossing powder grr!
I so love your desk, it makes me smile - so much stuff!! I've got my clear stamps in boxes too but also some in trays and some in a folder. The stamps in the folder I tend to forget about so not such a good idea for me! Thank you for your nice comments on my blog and for visiting my empty desk xx
I'm in that 4% with you, as you know, but it will be a higher percentage methinks if you did a secret poll! I think folks like to pretend they clean their stamps and organise them but methinks NAH! They don't really do it.
JoZarty x
I'm late...and it doesn't look like it...but my pix are of my work table!
It's me again...a day late and a dollor short! One of these days I'm going to get my act together, but I'd probably forget where I put it! I guess I'm a 4% gal, sounds like a perfect solution to me! I guess I should quit blabbing and get off to Weight Watchers. I've been good all week, well pretty good, ok, I did have that one good day! See you next week! Maybe actually on time! Have a terrific week!
Well, storage is storage and if it works for you that's perfect. I seem to think I've achieved perfection in my room then a year later I have to move it around again, might help if I stopped buying stuff I suppose!!
Hugs

Hello and lovely to have a good browse on your blog....I've come via Shaz, my new publicity agent from far away!! I of the stacked pizza boxes! However I have really enjoyed my last 20 mins browsing...gosh I chuckled all the way through - thanks for the entertainment....did you ever think of doing a one woman comedy show? Makes for great reading. Wish I had time to look at the desks but it's time to join Mr Crafty Quills in bed! Like you I may not sleep for hours but as we have no one calling early in the morning I won't get up too quickly!
Nice to read you - Best Wishes from Northern Ireland.
I've tried different systems for storing UM stamps and still haven't settled on the best way. Those that are in sets on sheets are kept upright in a box, so I can flip through, but it's all the odd little ones that are a problem - I've got several boxes and little crates for different categories, but still forget what's in each and some stamps don't fit into the categories or they could go in one of several places ... I wish someone would come up with a solution. Another love of RUBoxes here. x
Julia Sweetness I can't believe I checked in early for WOYWW and somehow didn't hit enter on my comment to you. I scanned the 123 comments twice thinking maybe I did but no, the window is still open on my desk...LOL. Thank you for another wonderful WOYWW!
Everybody but me seems into stamps - I have about 5!!! But I have about 200 cookie cutters and they are all piled in plastic drawers in the botton of my so called dish cupboard (more junk than china!).
But still I have to laugh! I saw the cat flattener episode of hoarders too!
Just catching up on the WOYWW hopping, 60 down, 100 to go. Cor Blimey...Did you put something in the water this week...?!! I'm contemplating switching to buckets for storage because however much I tidy up when you need to find a certain stamp during a mad session, it always ends up with a rummaging, flinging, faffing and falling off episode... might as well start and finish with a pile!
Now Julia - after your comment on my blog I am wondering what on earth the "idea" is. You have me intrigued. Will have to keep a look out.
Hugs, Neet xx

I've gotten the above message twice now in trying to visit your blogs! Don't know why...but I'm doing the best I can!
Oh Yea! I am so thrilled that I am not the only one playing catch up for WOYWW this week. I'm off to gander through the weekly growing list you have Julia. Thank you!
