Mr Dunnit becomes an unreal and frankly unbelievable 50 on Saturday. And because I am his life, LIFE, life partner (OK, you get it, just wanted y'all to know, it's me and him, for life!), it is I who will go with him for a weekend of sunshine, eating outside and reading books by the sea. Gin and Tonics too. We will not be entirely alone, for we have other friends who share the same auspicious age at around the same time. But it will be a grown up weekend. By which I mean there'll be hopeless giggling and ridiculous jokes and probably cheating at cards too. Of course, I tell you all this for a variety of reasons....first because I want you to envy my international jet-setting lifestyle (Easy Jet) , second because I'd really like y'all to pop round and check that Miss Dunnit isn't trashing the place (well, my workroom) , and third, well, it means that I won't be doing much commenting and I'm already running out of time just for WOYWW! So have a lovely weekend and please, dear interweb, don't do anything exciting without me!!

Really hope Mr D and you have a wonderful few days away. Happy 50th to Mr D....tell him it's really not that bad when you get there :-)

He's HOW OLD? Gosh and married himself a child bride too. Kuddos to that man. Are we talking an Aquarius or a Capricorn? It makes a difference in the card playing dept. but not in the life partnering dept. Have a blast and I'm sure Ms. Dunnit will too ;)

Mr Dunnit is a Capricorn... well, that explains a lot! Hope you both enjoy a lovely weekend away celebrating - and I am sure Ms Dunnit will look after the house.... or at least clean up after the party!! ;)

Happy Birthday to Mt Dunnit, and I hope you get lots and lots of silly giggling - it is the best therapy you can get. As you get older, you live to embarass your children, and you learn what childhood should have been about. It is wasted on the young. A little alcohol mixed with the cards works wonders, I have found.
