Week 520 is on Wednesday 22nd May 2019. Next year's WOYWW Crop will be on Saturday 1st June in Shrewsbury.
Our hosts for this crop will be Twiglet and Wipso - you know who I mean, Jo and Annie.
The hall is booked and some plans are actually being hatched! Our hosts for this crop will be Twiglet and Wipso - you know who I mean, Jo and Annie.
Now, the reason for sharing our excitement over this is simple; we want you to come!
We're hoping that this amount of notice will give you time to consider, plot, plan and ultimately, say yes! (one of our number has already booked a holiday nearby so that she can come. *cough - LLJ - cough*)
well, if I can, I will.... seems a very tortuous journey from here by train (sometimes not driving is a pain!) - via Birmingham (don't you just love UK travel) but 10 years is a big thing to celebrate!
ReplyDeleteCould we have some details of where the venue is too so I can research somewhere to stay?
I'll be there in spirit, but somehow I doubt I can cross that big pond to get there. If I could, that would be the time to do it, since I'm sure SOMEONE would find a spot for me somewhere.
ReplyDeleteI'll be there with bells on! I will check with Eva when I see her next Thursday.
ReplyDeleteLove the pic of the hall Julia. I’d best get some info up for those wanting to head this way....let’s hope we have a good turn out.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Annie x
Count me in - how could I miss this?
ReplyDeleteHugs, Neet xx
Well? I like being prepared :-D. Congrats on keeping the ship afloat for a decade, lovely gal - does this make me your first mate?? Lol
ReplyDeleteHugs LLJ xxx
Hi Julia, Sadly it's over three and a half hours driving for me, so I wouldn't be able to make it.
ReplyDeleteNot surprised WOYWW has been going for almost 10 years. Think I have been visiting since year 3 or 4.
Hope you have a nice day. Sue
We'll be there. ...well done Twiglet and Wipso.

I've looked at the train times and it's just under 4 hours might have to think again but I would love to come, we'll just have to see. Do let us know exactly where it will be. Have a great weekend, Angela xXx
ReplyDeleteTempting. that's all I'm going to say for now.
ReplyDeleteWahoo. Count me in folks. I'll probably come in the caravan and stay a few nights somewhere near. I've always wanted to explore the Cadfael villages - so now's my chance.

Ooo I will have to check the Diary for this.. There appears to be much parking space hee hee!! Tracey xx
ReplyDeleteLooks like plenty of interest Julia. Let me know if you need more details etc. At the moment we have a firm booking at the hall. This is the link https://www.radbrook.org.uk/ xx Jo
ReplyDeleteWe're in! What a milestone eh? Looking forward to it already. Hugs, Shaz XxX
ReplyDeletehave checked the link Jo posted for the venue. is there anywhere to stay nearby? Obviously with the length of time and number of trains I would need to get it would mean travelling on Friday and staying, and then returning on the Sunday so accommodation would be needed, so further research is required! thanks.
ReplyDeleteThis is within striking distance for me - I might be able to make it - but it's too far into the future to commit myself just yet. Will defo consider - this would be my first meetup ever!xx
ReplyDeleteWe're in! Couldn't possibly, wouldn't dream of, missing this auspicious occasion. Elizabeth xx
ReplyDeleteShrewsbury! Now that is a location that I should be able to get to (whether hubby drives me, and he goes to ride a bicycle whilst I meet you all - or I can get on trains). I will put the date in my planner, so we do not arrange a trip to Spain that week. Ali x
