What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 895

Turns out I didn’t tidy for no reason….I've used my desk! Hurrah, fanfare!!

As you can see from this morning’s photo, it’s on the cool side in my workroom all morning, so at the weekend I turned my back on morning routine and enjoyed a couple of hours at the old desk. I made up the cards from the Stampin’Up Pumpkin Patch subscription kits I signed up for. Turns out I’ve quite a lot to say about the kits, so will photo the made cards and talk about them separately. I soon turned back to my stamps and mess making though, and really did enjoy a thoroughly good session- and although I did tidy, it wasn’t thorough, huh! I’m off to join in with some community crafting this morning at a local pottery painting shop; I think I may actually paint a pot rather than drag stuff with me to do, after all, there are Christmas presents to be made!

I’m grinning now at the various reactions that talking about Christmas will have caused….! Join us over at Sarah’s for sensible and creative desks!

  3. I haven't done pottery in years. My favorite part was molding the clay into anything I wanted.. Enjoy yourself and happy WOYWW!

  4. My hubby was a potter among other things and we've still got a few things he and the children made. If any of the children in the class didn't want their projects he used to bring them home for me, I even have one of the first things he made when he was at school himself, it's a rather ugly frog. I'm just working on some Christmas card ideas at the moment so I have no room to speak. Have a good woyww, hugs Angela x7x

  5. Don't worry, I just skip on by Christmas comments especially in this blistering heat today, it's really taking my breath away. So glad the tidy desk and no morning routine made room to do some crafting - yay. Hugs Bj#11

  6. Happy post-knitting WOYWW!
I do love a bit of pottery and find it hard to bypass any sign as we drive that announces one. It's a weakness LOL! Otherwise, fingers in ears, LA LA LA LA LA at any mention of the C-word when the temp is 30. :-P
