There’s pushed back stamps and ink pads from last weeks floral card making, and as you can see, some paint applied to wooden eggs. See the post before this if you want to read of my painting experience. All of this pushed back into ignore mode because my photos have turned up. I ordered 101 of them 2 weeks ago, one arrived, all on its own in a big old envelope. Customer services were marvellous and here are the other 100. Now all I need to do is scrapbook them! Won’t it be marvellous when I stop talking and start doing. The plastic file sleeve under the lid for the paints is another project to be done…we have a Coronation coming up and I have a need to paint some more plates!
Talking of things coming up….the anniversary of WOYWW is approaching, Week 728. The ATC swap is a goer, make one or a few, up to you. There’s no specific challenge, I don’t want to make it harder than it is to come up with an idea. Last year we celebrated connection, so this year…go for what this whole blog link up thing means to you. But have fun!
Meanwhile though, and more pressing than any ATC…show us your working space please!
Morning Julia! I am looking forward to not only lighter days but better weather too!
ReplyDeleteHow on earth did just one photo get sent on it's own... glad the rest have arrived now though. I am sure you will get them scrapped in your own time.. Happy WOYWW Helen #1
Glad you got all the photos now Julia - can't wait to see the layouts with them. I will make an ATC over the Easter holidays for my PIF but not sure if I will manage more. Good luck with all those planned projects of yours. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
ReplyDeleteLoved reading about your egg journey! Maddie is keen to make a wreath so, yeah, I may be right there with you. Last week was crazy but I’m happy to be back! On already have a bit of an idea for the ATCs, no I just need to focus. Curious about you painting plates comment tho, hope we’ll. see that some day….
ReplyDeleteHappy Woyww

Our clocks go back on April 2nd - then we will be 11 hours different instead of the 9 for the other part of the year! Our weather will be getting cooler...
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the anniversary swap!
I love it when the clocks go forward ...it always seems to suit my body clock better. At least now I can sleep now the worrying is done and all is ok. Spring has sprung here thankfully and the garden is bursting into bloom everywhere...what’s not to love.
ReplyDeleteHugs,

I love it when the clocks go forward, I can get so much more done in the lighter evenings. Fingers crossed for better weather too, it's pouring here are the moment. You have a mammoth task ahead of you with 101 photos to scrapbook, what a strange way of posting your order - glad it got sorted out.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, and I'm definitely up for the ATC swap - it comes round so quickly doesn't it.

yay loads of photos to scrap, really need to get back to mine but don't feel like anything just now. Sick again, feels like COVID again - horrid. BJ#7
ReplyDeleteI just wish they would stop altering the clocks as it confuses the dogs, oh well! Pleased you got your photos and I know you'll give them a good home. I've been thinking about the ATCs and may have a plan. Have a lovely woyww. Hugs, angela x11x
ReplyDeleteOoh one photo in a huge envelope, you can't make stuff like that up!! Yes, lighter evenings and looking forward to lighter mornings soon too (dont like still going to work in the dark but lovely to walk after work in daylight, though it does take me a week or so to realise its 1930 and not 1730!!).

Ditto to your 1st paragraph. It's so windy right now, and cold.20 degrees out with Storms on the way.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with the photos. I've a warning to transfer more/make books etc or lose my account. ?? what timing . Only a few more days March and hard to believe.
Enjoy a good week, Happy WOYWW
101 photos, wow that’s a lot of Coven weekends away and scrapbooking, should keep you busy for a while! Those eggs really are the wrong shape aren’t they, but once you’ve them all in a bowl, they’ll look pretty. You’ve made more effort for Easter decorating than I have!
ReplyDeleteHugs LLJ 8 xx
Enjoy your scrap booking . Will be joining in with our anniversary celebrations. Just need an idea now. x x Jo
ReplyDeleteHi Julia, I agree, the weather hasn’t received the memo about spring. It’s very wet, foggy and miserable here today. Enjoy your painting
ReplyDeleteTake care and happy WOYWW

Good afternoon Julia! Finally finished and posted my blog, A Cup of tea and nap is next! 101 photographs, that should keep you busy for the rest of the year!! Have fun. Happy WOYWW Angela #15
ReplyDeleteI read the egg saga last night Julia, hope you find some ovoid shapes before too long.
ReplyDeleteOh Em Gee, that sounds like a lot of work with all those photos waiting to be turned into pages in your scrapbook. But what is this about painting plates? Sounds as if you are going to be one busy little bee with no time to rest.
I did have a chuckle about the memo not being received.
Hugs, Neet 2 xx
Another Zoom meeting would be great for the anniversary
ReplyDeletei'm excited about the ATC swap- I have several ideas floating around, and having the date in mind will possibly help to bring them down to the ground!
ReplyDeleteThis is the first times in months I've been able to connect to you! I haven't done a WOYWW desk for the same amount of time, but it's just as messy as ever with not much crafting going on. Time just seems to fly by and I'm always in a state of stoober (...spelt wrong!) I'm going to try to catch up while I'm here! If I can't get in again...So, Happy Easter, Happy Christmas...etc etc...if I can't. I've missed them all!
ReplyDeletePS. Thank you much for that lovely Christmas Card. It's still on my mantelpiece! I know I have your addy somewhere, it's just a case of finding where!
