The plastic bag of sharpies is there because I rummaged through them to find a suitable colour to write on something or other; apparently sticking them back on the shelf that I had to walk past to leave the room was too much! The Tri-colour pens actually in my working space are there because I’ve got about four more cards left to colour before I call my Christmas cards finished. The rubber stamps and ink pads are self explanatory - just not tidied and cleaned yet. I’ll get to it, once the cards are finished. Not least because I need to put the wood mounted ones back in their box and file them in the attic room to get them out of my way!
Right in the middle of my work space is an ATC with perfect pearls on it, so drying. Hopefully dry and ready to send to my tradee today. But I feel as though I’m getting on, in this room at least! So, happy December to you, hasn’t it come around fantastically quickly!

Show us your work surfaces then, let us not judge but be in awe……
Ooh, I had to zoom in a bit but I love your ATC! The cards are always wonderful but ATCs? I’m like “ooh…shiny!” Ah well. We all have our weaknesses. And of course a happy December to you too, as well as happy Woyww!

I think I have nearly enough cards now, need to get the list written out to check... and of course the insides aren't stamped! ah well plenty of time (ahem) left.. great desk today, love the busyness of it. Happy WOYWW Helen
ReplyDeleteDecember has indeed come round quickly Julia. Good luck with the last of the Christmas cards. The ATC is lovely! Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
ReplyDeleteI can scarcely believe it’s December already! Glad to see your return to form. Smart ATC! Enjoy the rest of your card making.
ReplyDeleteTake care and happy WOYWW

Lynnecrafts 4 (thanks Gracie for waking me early; 4! I haven’t been so early for ages!)
Happy WOYWW. Excited to be back. I had forgotten to get our advent calendars ready last night, and one is the Crafters Companion one for me. I will get that opened and update my blog post later. Ali x #8
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear you have nearly finished your Christmas cards Julia, your desk is testament to that. I wrote my post without a jot of paper crafting but the weekly post for craftland does spark my enthusiasm and I awake to what seems like the elves have been at work on my desk!!! Yup I was up till the wee hours making cards for my crochet angels to be sent in. Have to say using the big pink tape thingy hurt my wrist and squeezing the glue was a very, not so nice feeling in the palm on my hand. It's a jolly long road for my wrist to get better. But at least I'm off the mark, thought December would do the trick, I'll post a photo next week. Thanks so much for this weekly get together it really helps feeling part of something bigger. With love BJ#7
ReplyDeleteHappy December to you. You sound like you’re doing well to get it all done ready for the big day....I’m back to putting zips in trousers when the bag full arrives later today so I had to get my cards finished and posted.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Hugs,

Hi Julia, love your messy (I mean busy!) desk! Lots going on there - it's just ironic that when you decided to go messy, I've tidied up! Once-in-a-blue-moon event but it does happen! Happy #652! xx zsuzsa (yet to write my post)
ReplyDeleteHappy December! Lots of cards to be seen today I bet.
ReplyDeleteLove the ATC
have an enjoyable week

That beam of light from the lamp is a most odd optical illusion, it looks like a shaft pointing upwards. Maybe it’s just me…π³ glad the desk has resumed its normal appearance and that you’re enjoying your crafting.

Well, that's a bit of a clutter Julia. Perfect Pearls is like Stickles, takes ages to dry and you end up with stuff all over the place - well, I do! I've taken over the Dining Table with my finished Christmas cards so it's been meals on knees for the past two days. This morning they are all getting enveloped and then we can eat properly.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Neet 12 xx
Well done you busy lady on being done with your cards. We’ve finally managed to have two new large chest of drawers from I**A delivered this morning, so crafting may have to wait today.
ReplyDeleteLots of lovely craftiness happening on your desk - I love the ATC. Glad you're finishing off the last of your Christmas cards - I've made a start on mine but three days were missed last week because of booster effects but sooooo happy to have had it so I don't mind - this week is a 'get stuck in' week!
ReplyDeleteHappy December and Happy WOYWW,
Diana xx #15
Great to see crafting on your table!
ReplyDeleteI have posted a few of my cards - but the rest are still being made!
Happy Crafting!

HIi Julia, you're so right. We seem ages from Christmas and then suddenly it's December but at least I got started with my C. cards a bit earlier this year though they are not quite finished but should be any time. Loving the ATC. Had the Booster this week too and just one day of feeling a bit under the weather then back to normal. Wishing you a very happy woyww. Hugs, Angela x16x
ReplyDeleteYour light seems to have a beam going both ways! I do like a busy desk. I have yet to try Perfect Pearls, but they always look nice on cards or ATC’s. Happy WOYWW Angel #13
ReplyDeleteOoh ATC looks good.
ReplyDeleteI am a fan of sharpies, but zoomed in to see your tri colour pens, do they have 3 nib sizes on each pen? If so, oooh if permanent then i need to have a look at these! #enabler!

There will be no negative judgement from me, Julia, just admiration for all the interesting desks we are privileged to see every week, including yours. And I'm full of admiration for anyone who is almost at the point of calling their Christmas cards finished. I wish! Love the ATC. Happy WOYWW, happy December and have a great week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #21
ReplyDeleteI need to actually take some time to stop and count cards I have on hand and see if I have enough to squeak by yet. maybe later this week. that is always the hardest part for me is writing in them and sending them out. I love that you are almost done Julia. ~Stacy # 23
ReplyDeleteHi Julia! December is upon us! Lovely creative desk today! Only 4 cards left? That's what I'm starting with! LOL! Good for you, you can then focus on decorating! Happy WOYWW, Lindart #24
ReplyDeleteCan you believe it's Dec. 1!!! Oh my!
ReplyDeleteLove the busy desk!
Great ATC!
Have a wonderful week!

I zoomed in on the ATC... love it. I really want to keep making them but must get on with unfinished Christmas cards!! I was very late today, more like this evening! and a lovely woywwer linked me...but I wasn't there, so there's two links. The other one goes to my freebie. Happy WOYWW!? Stay Safe! ((Lyn)) the right one #25
ReplyDeleteHi Julia, thanks for popping over to mine. I saw your question about the stamp but it doesn't look like a real word just letters but if I find out what it is I'll let you know. Sorry that's all I can tell you. Have a lovely weekend, Angela xXx
ReplyDeleteHee! Hee! I'm back I know what it is!!!! it's French and it's Postale, I'm pretty sure. Hugs, Angela xXx

Oh, goodness, Julia, you're making me feel so bad. I haven't even started on my cards yet. Oh, for some extra hours in every day, and the energy to get through them too. Enough of that, I hope you're having a lovely day visiting your mother and the shopping despite the weather. Now that I have cataracts developing in my eyes I have dry eyes too. I use prescribed drops - Hylo Fresh eye drops - and they cloud my vision too. Still it's better than the alternative. Have a lovely week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #16
