What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 450

Straight into it today dear deskers; no amount of explanation will make it tidy! I took the photo on Tuesday late afternoon, as I was meant to be tidying up but I was shocked into inaction by the snowing weather. Argh. You see the Dreamcatcher on the desk, there's a stamped image and a die from Sheena's latest collection. It's nice. They may look like Wink of Stella, but the pens are actually called Moon Sparkles by Dawn Bibby. The labels peel off and the pen is printed with the Wink of Stella brand name. Make of that what you will! I've been trying to come up with some male style cards. I may not have succeeded, but I must say that I've had a fun couple of hours at my desk trying! Nothing particularly new to report on..I'm going back to the desk now to see what exactly is sticking out from under the cutter at far right. Something with a pair of boots on it....no idea what! Share your space please..we (I) need to see!

  1. the dreamcatcher looks fab! I am hoping the snow doesn't reach here (although it might be better than the rain they are just telling me we are due today...) and that it doesn't cause you too much disruption to your tidying...

  2. Morning Julia. It's high winds here - no snow at the moment though. Possibly 'cos we are so near the sea... Hope you discover what is underneath the cutter:-)
    Take care. God bless

  3. I like Sheena's dream catcher. I've been playing with making my own washi tape this week. I know what you mean about men's cards; it's my number 1 request for cards. Have a good week. Sarah #?

  7. We had a sprinkling of snow over night but thankfully not the 15” we had last time.....yet. It appears there’s more on its way but I’m keeping everything crossed.....I’m not really a snow lover.
Having read the other comments it seems like it’s a snow report this morning 😀😀😀😀
Have a great week my friend and stay warm.
    Hugs,

  8. Well I took the time and them my connection went and I lost it!!!
    Synopsis:-
Dawn Bibby's activity is a bit questionable!
Male cards difficult and I struggle with the numerous male scrappages I need to do.
    Boots - who knows

  9. Ooh, that's a bit naughty isn't it? Pens I mean.
Love your dreamcatcher which would do for either male or female. Love dreamcatchers. My friend here in America had a huge one bought from an American Indian somewhere Grand Canyon way I think.
    Hugs, Neet 12 xx

  10. Hi Julia, Dawn's not the only one that does that but if they work out cheaper who cares and I'm sure the company probably supply the label to go over their own. Men's cards always seem a difficult one and since finding those old tax discs every man I know has had something with those on. I noticed lots of our group are suffering snow, I am not saying too much but we are stuck in a hotel room with gusting winds and there are snow ploughs everywhere so you can work that one out for yourselves though the desk might be a giveaway today. Sending big happy woyww hugs, Angela x14x

  18. Goodmorning Julia, Hello from stormy Holland (no snow) and a big 'New Year's hug' (although the year is 17 days old already...) I'm back after all those weeks of being MIA and it's comforting to see your desk is still here and it still looks like a "Julia desk"! Hope you have a great day! Marit #22

  19. Happy WOYWW. Just had a search for Dawn Bibby's pens - and her website was down. It came up as £34.99 for a set of 12 on the Google search, but when I did a search for actual Wink of Stella pens, I found a set of 12 for £19.99. So - she was making a great deal of profit on her sets! Double naughty. Ali x #22

  21. Happy new year Julia. There's not been a lot to report in the Holland household due to a troublesome few months, so I'm moving slowly and gently into 2018.

  22. Hi Julia, back again and actually awake now, lol. Love the dreamcatcher, and the card with the trainers on. Awesome. I'd heard that about the 'Dawn Bibby' pens from somewhere else, can't remember where though. Hope your snow has cleared, we didn't get any although they were forecasting the possibility for last night. Love & Hugs, Shaz XxX

  23. Make a snowman, laugh and get wet. Be a kid again. Weather is totally crazy all over the world. USA south was hit hard and they are places who are NOT prepared for driving, or removal a real mess. Happy WOYWW, just had issues posting my URL from my kindle, the main computer is total blackness after the attack of the blue screen. So it is learn 10 and grow up.
My sweet mom loves Dream Catchers..yours is beautiful colors I'll have to try to make one for Mother's Day I have feather dies. And I like the BIG shoe card. Trying to stay strong today, little cat is now a lap cat I guess, but we have each other.

  28. Hello Julia, the dream catcher is beautiful. I brought one back from America but that was more than twenty years ago and I have no idea where it's gone to now. I've spotted three rather nice cards scattered around your desk. I've heard that about Dawn Bibby's pens before - a rose by any other name ... Have a great week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #36

  29. I am just defrosting and so posted at 3.25 pm.Perhaps it speaks for my state of mind but I have hip hop playing. It is about time I switched to some jazz before my mind turns into a glacier. If you are using the sneaker for a male birthday card you will have to use another color 'Pink" and men rarely go together.
Well need to do something positive before I freeze up. Hubby is having hot flashes, my cat keeps going out as soon as it is below freezing . Have a good week. hope it drys up and warms up in UK.
    Hug monica

  31. Love the busy desk, and the dreamcatcher! I just got some Sheena glitter pens, but haven't opened the boxes yet. We had 7 inches of snow today, so now that we've had dinner, we have to go out to plow out. I'll have to check the labels tomorrow! Have a great week.
