This is late afternoon sunshine, taken yesterday whilst I had the thought in my head. I'm still doing multiples and still reasonably enjoying it. At front left are my Moon Sparkle paint brush pens. (The ones that have Wink of Stella printed on them under the labels). They are very much my go to for colouring at the moment. Very much. The landline phone is sitting on top of the Bluetooth speaker, and the heat gun is actually in the way - when I get to it this morning, there will be some reorganising to do. I don't think there's room for 'push back or side'! The basket at right on top of the trimmer and stamp positioner and cleaner pad and probably something else, contains the finished multiples. It's nice to bunch them together, I like to see my achievement! The rest of the stuff is just that - stuff...fall out from doing stuff. No point saying it's because of the five minute here and there thing - you know it's not; it's just the way I am!
We are about to enter the month of the WOYWW Crop, anything you'd like to know, please refer to the page linked above or ask by comment, email etc. It's all a bit exciting really!
Now then, please share the way you are. Your desk is brilliant, your works are inspirational. Put WOYWW in your blog post title and link it here! Thank you!
I am impressed that you are still doing multiples, I haven't managed even singles of anything for weeks! The trouble with batch making is that eventually you have to stop making and start assembling.. and then I get bored! I do agree that you have run out of push back/side room though...I know that feeling well! Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteMorning Julia. Yay!! Only a month to the crop... I'll talk with you and see if you need to know anything else about the area or the day.. Great to see all those completed images - well done. They look good.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

Hi Julia, I'm on my laptop today and can't quite see what the image is on the card but will have a better look when I get home (oh dear! that's a bit of a giveaway that I'm not actually at my desk). Wish I could be with you all at the crop but who knows maybe one day. Have a great woyww and happy crafting, Angela x11x
ReplyDeleteThat topiary tree stamp is cute. I'm impressed with your batch making; you don't do things by halves! Happy WOYWW Sarah #13
ReplyDeleteNo need to show off that you are far more technical than me - Bluetooth speaker !!!
ReplyDeleteNot in this house, we have a radio on in every room. Sometimes as many as four at once if I'm doing my whirling dervish act and doing several jobs at once. All tuned to Radio Manchester. Even my car only has cassette/radio fitted. One day we will move into the 21st century haha

Ps I am clever enough to have started using a new blogging app called Blog Pro which means I can blog on the go straight from my phone
I used to love batch making my cards... I got rid of most of my paper crafting items and switched to fabric... but I will do my own Christmas cards this year so Looking forward to that... well done you... Love your busy desk as always... May #10
ReplyDeleteImpressed that you are continuing on your theme - batch making!! I keep promising myself I will make a start on my C cards, if only to stamp them out and take on holiday to colour!
ReplyDeleteHave a good week

Hi Julia, I admit the nice part about doing multiples is seeing a whole stack of finished cards together. Every now and again I can do a number of something, I think the design has to really grab me. More often lately, they're similar, but different. Late this am, been to Docs with a painful shoulder. Had it for the last couple of weeks, seems I have inflamed tendons and a trapped nerve! Also found out why I'd been really breathless the last couple of days. Been putting Ibuprofen gel on it to help kill the pain. Apparently with COPD I shouldn't use it. First I'd heard! Question, will you be bringing your Big Shot, if so, I'll bring my dies. Love & Hugs,Shaz #3 XxX
ReplyDeleteThe lovely sunshine outside your window caught my eye, Julia. Can you send it my way, please. It never made it here in Yorkshire yesterday despite the weather people promising it and it's not looking good today either.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried the wink of stella pens, might have to look out for them.
Have a good week

Happy WOYWW. Lots going on in your crafty life. My craft room is in the middle of yet another clear out - so bags/piles everywhere. It seems to be a never-ending job. Ali x #18
ReplyDeleteI LOVE my wink of stella pens... in fact I love everything shimmery, as you will see in this week's share. But the stella's are they "rebranded" as Moon and Sparkle paint brush pens by you? Do love that name though, brilliant!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week! Happy WOYWW xoxo Cheetarah #20
Mm know all about the piles of things here and there because "its just the way I am Julia!"
ReplyDeleteAm am too tired to take pickie of current desk (its almost 10pm here) as its dumping ground you can't rightly see the desk! however share none the less the photos were ready to go just not blogged, so now done, five days later!

oh oh oh - I found something to blog and potential scrapbooking page. Hope you get round to some tidying so you have space to make more "stuff" BJ#23
ReplyDeleteHi Julia
ReplyDeleteBluetooth Speaker - it's an essential part of my craftroom, and bathroom!
I can see the piles of stuff, and I love having lots of stuff ... I just have to clear it away before each visit from my grandchildren, so I get in the habit of always having a fairly clear desk. Maybe that will change as they get older. I also have a shocking memory at the moment, so everything needs to be in its place so I know where it is!
Joining WOYWW has certainly encouraged me to have a go at different things. All I need now is the time ... Have a lovely week, Heather #25
Love those Wink of Stella pens but only have a few. Didn't realise they had been re-branded. Hope you are having a good week.
ReplyDeleteSummer-sunshine coming in through your window... it was like that in Holland too but that was yesterday. Do you have a pouring-rain-all-day day too right now? A perfect day to declutter dear ;) However, whatever you do today, enjoy! Love from Holland. Marit #26
ReplyDeleteYour desk looks good in the sunlight as whether it is full or empty.
ReplyDeleteSo the pens you are using are really Wink of Stella - how could they do that and get away with it?
Sorry I rambled on with my post about my trip but felt it was still a bit arty with the two sculptures - and they would probably appeal to Shaz (Silverwolf).
Hope you are well and getting ready for the crop. Exciting - I get to go at last.
Hugs, Neet 5 xx
Julia, I always LOVE looking at our desk! It's crafty happiness to me because there is always something on there that I would totally like to get a hold of! LOLOL I know, crafter envy is NOT good! :) And also, I love looking out your window! I would love to go out to your garden! Thanks for your WOYWW leadership....its so fun! :) Felicia, #32
ReplyDeleteWow! Your batch printing is serious stuff! The most I've ever done of one design at a time is 12--any more and bad things start to happen. LOL! Love looking out on your yard. Have a great week.

Happy WOYWW ave a great week xx Jan (30)
ReplyDeleteYou are certainly on top of things, progress is being made! I love the view from your window, my view (of the tops of the trees) is behind me. Thanks for sharing, Lindart #35
ReplyDeleteThat's an impressive collection of Wink of Stella pens. I didn't know there were so many colours! I just have a clear one, which I love for adding little touches of sparkle.
ReplyDeleteI am totally impressed you have done so many of them, you're right the photo is very happy to see :) love the light too Julia, ~Stacy #36
ReplyDeleteGood to see lots on the go there Julia. I know it's a bit late in the day but at least I have managed it this week! xx Jo
ReplyDeleteok, your desk looks neat compared to mine, today! I wish I lived near to take part in the WOYWW crop! #39
ReplyDeleteGreat to see all the things you are making. I love wink of stella type pens but I had a bit of an 'oops' moment at the crop on Saturday - I had shaken the pen remembering to keep the lid on but ink flooded the lid and spilt onto the work I was doing...very sparkly but not exactly the look I was going for LOL.
