T for Tuesday

Some of you Downton fans will appreciate this.  It was a Christmas present; Mr Dunnit got one too - of course his says 'His Lordship'.
Of course, it's absolutely true. In my head!
The irony of course, is that this photo was taken in this morning's dark kitchen whilst making up a flask to take to work. You can see my paint spattered and mucky top. Actually, it's clean on.  Here's another irony - after a week of not being overly needed as a the fumbling apprentice, the boiler has been fixed and the house is actually warm enough to sit still in. So off to work I go! Have a lovely Tuesday - visit Elizabeth and Bleuberd (and Squiggles) for more Ts on Tuesdays.

    Happy T-day Julia and thanks for visiting, yes it does feel good to be able to warm up our house again too.

    I think your mug is spot on, but my poor old knees refuse to let me bow low these days.....LOL

    Yes, we did find a floor plan, that I fell in love with and it isn't the size or price of a castle!! I did find it on line too, and printed it out and made some minor adjustments to fit our life style. Now to keep DH in the forward movement......grin

    Oh your Ladyship, I bow to you and your clean work top, too. I know what cold is, since I keep my house so cold, the pipes sometimes freeze. Thankfully, not this year, though. Glad you made it through the "hard" times, but laughed that now it was warm again, it was also time to return to your "day job."

    That mug fits you PERFECTLY. Thanks for sharing it with us for T this Tuesday. See you in the morning if it doesn't freeze before I get there (grin).

    Great mug, your ladyship! glad you've got your boiler fixed, nothing worse than a cold house which invariably means not hot water either... hope you had a good day at work as the fumbling apprentice!!
