Brace yourselves...

There are lists of every kind concerning 2013.  They are dotted in every corner of every genre that the internet offers.  I love a retrospective, but am useless at putting them together, so let me instead recommend some....
Brenda - has joined a link party showcasing their top five favourite Christmas Cards
Elizabeth's last couple of posts are a sweep of 2013
Hels is showing her favourite makes of 2013
Mum's Monkey is doing the last of the year's confectionery reviews...it's a weird one.
Marit has been counting down the top 2000 pieces of art in her Paper World..check it out!

The List book means as much to me as any diary....
And moi?  I'm a list maker of the TO DO variety, and that will not change.  So as to have the appearance of waking up ready and able tomorrow, I've got a calendar and the work diary to sort..  a hot drink is a decent companion, huh.  For me, the Diary is a double edged tool -the best thing is it shows all the potential for accomplishment. The bad thing is the speed at which one can pass right through a year. Ah well, as long as we're still friends, still healthy and still loved...let them.  Happy New Year.

  1. Wow, I came to visit and found my name in "lights." How sweet of you.

Your to-do list will surely get you through the next year, because I know you will keep adding and adding to it until you can't take any more lists (grin).

Have a wonderful New Year's Eve and day. We are still on for WOYWW, right?

I guess I should wish you the customary "stay safe" message, too.

  2. Love this! I'm a 'lister', too - with 4 kids and a hubby, it's pretty much a necessity! :)

I wanted to stop by and thank you for all you do for the WOYWW - it's a blessing and inspiration wrapped into one :) It got me back into crafting/blogging when the rest of the world was pretty much going bananas! Thanks, girl!

Best wishes for the New Year and here's to 2014!

  3. Like you I am a List, person, very planned.... It works for me and I get stuff done( generally)
Thank you for the last year of WOYWW , and I look forward to another year of lovely crafty desks... I joined WOYWW two years ago this week for the saddest of reasons, when my daughter was really ill and I thought she would die, I cleaned my craft space for days while I waited for the biopsy results, it was so tidy I took a photo and joined WOYWW and here I have been for the last two years.... My daughter well, I have shared that with fellow WOYWW friends over the two years, after 14 months she was well on the mend and got married last June and now I wait my first Grandchild at Easter, again the pregancy has not been easy and she has been in hospital a couple of times but all is progressing, I just keep my fingers crossed and hope in my heart.

  13. May you cross off as many items as you add to your lists in the New Year! That assumes you are carrying over a list left over from 2013?! :)) HAPPY NEW YEAR, Julia!

  14. Hi Julia

Sorry long time no visit. funny how I think about everyone each Wednesday but am still rubbish at time management or multitasking in order to do blogposts and join in. I'm going to attempt to make more effort this new year.

I feel the same as you do about the diary... it's alarming the rate we zip through the pages. SCARY!

I cant do a review of my lasy hyear of blogging as it is now officially over one year since I last wrote a post... ironic then that the post was ab
Out my blogoversary which is on the 4th. This makes it a few days short of 4 years since I made your acquaintance! Now that is DOUBLE SCARY!!!

    big hugs
