If you do nothing else today, please visit Planand browse their site, consider signing the petition and maybe get a little more involved. Most of my readers are first world women. Who once were first world girls. Our advantages and rights to education have already been fought for and achieved by previous generations. Time to make that happen again, elsewhere. The world is tiny and you're a part of it.
Popped over and signed...just popped bak over here to let your readers know it takes only a second of your time. If you want more info there is a box to tick, if not, no problem just don't tick it.
Wonderful to see this issue on a crafting blog...a signature is such a little thing for us but powerful with many more. I am proud to say the labour movement in Canada has supported and resourced many girl education projects. Will of course add my signature to this one too! Thanks Julia!
Signed and shared on Facebook too. My brother and sister in law to be work in schools in Ecuador where few girls are lucky enough to sustain an education, so it is a great cause. See you tomorrow Kyla
Julia, thank you so much for a lovely day. A great lunch, good company, some shopping time - and a party bag! Wasn't expecting that! It was so nice to meet you. Kirsty
I will pop over there Julia...As a family, we so believe in the value of education.
