I had this idea to freshen theWOYWW logo in preparation for the new year, because it's a ridiculous acronym and deserves a spring clean, and because it looks as though it's going to make a third anniversary for goodness sake. Honestly, you'd think none of us had anything else to do!
So when you need a nice design and you don't have a single atom of clue about such things, to whom do you turn? Yep, I commissioned a design studio! I know, how self important is that! And the Design Studio took the brief and frankly ran away with it and gave me choices and asked me questions that I didn't understand. So I made up the answers, and now have three styles to choose from. Of course, it happens that my sissy Stephanie is a partner over at the Design Studio, but y'all knew that from previous bragging posts.
Steph has posted these on her blog too....wanna visit her and tell her which you prefer? I have already chosen, and will not be influenced. Well I might. But likely not.
See you tomorrow for WOYWW, old style or new! The badge might change but believe me...oh lord, nothing else does!

They are great and I think if pushed to choose I'd say the middle one, although the first one is a close runner!
ReplyDeleteI go for number two definitely, if you want a button that will leap from a page and as most colours are on it it would fit in with most blog decors - also love number one too but not sure it will stand out. I reckon know which one Brenda of Buttlersabroad will like - she will go for number 3 as she uses those colours really often! Shaz in oz.x

ReplyDeleteBut hey, WOYWW has definitely taken on a life of it's own (look at the numbers last week!!!!! :-O )and there's no way it'll die now. Unless you stop completely. And then one of us would probably pick up the torch and carry it for ye... see ya tomoz!

ReplyDeleteJulia...they are all great! If you were leaving it up to me (which you aren't) I would pick #3. If you go by the old....I think #2 is the choice. If you go by the colours of your blog which obviously you love, #1 would be it. Can't wait to see!

ReplyDeleteHi Julia, I think the only thing that would kill WOYWW is the gremlin that is preventing folks from commenting over the last week, otherwise like the old trooper it is, it will go on forever :) Unlike most of the others, #2 is not for me ... it does strange things to my eyesight ... and if I had any say at all, and I know I don't, I'd opt for #3 - love the colours. ReplyDeleteI'm crazy for color, so of course I was drawn to the middle one. The other two look very similar to the original, just without the added color. I'm so surprised (well, not really) at how much the phenomenon has grown over these past two + years.

ReplyDeleteI think the ones on the two ends are REALLY pretty - but - I think the middle one pops the most.
Personally - I think all three rock, and in true, WOYWW customize and personalize it as you go style - I think you should pick the one you like for your blog - and then let everyone else pick the one they want for theirs (or for their particular post) - Nikki style (since we are ALL spoiled from that! :-)

Once, I was even in the emergency room of a hospital when I asked my sister Peggy to link me up, and she laughed and laughed and laughed, because she said she thought my conditon was serious! It was! Deep vein thrombosis, and all I could think of was I should not miss WOYWW!! Whatever have you done!
