What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 132

There is a reason for the shakey photography.  And for the gifts on my workdesk.  This photo and post are scheduled.  Right now it's Tuesday afternoon.  Tonight I'm out with my crafting galfriends for our Christmas meal and Secret Santa.  So I've finally broken into some Christmas paper and done some wrapping.  And I realised that if I don't schedule this.....I have to get up really early on Wednesday morning..and I don't intend to; you will I'm sure understand.  I'm tonight's designated driver, but nevertheless, it will be a late night.  And I've planned a lie in.  What's the betting I'll be wide awake at 5.30am!
You can see a set of nesting box lids...which match the nesting boxes upon which they stand..you can't tell that I've actually done something to the boxes, but I have.  I'm doing a Neil.  If they are ever finished, I'll explain.
Meanwhile, I'm off to the meeting of The Coven (as the Enthusiastic Educator's husband refers to us.  He thinks he's joking; only we know whether he is or not.) That's why the photo is a bit shakey - I'm hungry! Show us what you're doing this close to Christmas, if you've time.  Upload a pic of your work surface to your blog and then link here.  We'll visit.  Slowly!

  1. Well, I really hope you're not awake!! If like me after an evening out I am usually awake all night - effects of eating too much only (I can't eat late at night!) The pressies look so pretty - I had to wrap some last evening to take to the post office today...

  4. Gotta like the SLOWLY claim. Just how I feel after trying to catch up with everyone who left messages last week for me. Have a great sleep in. After all, you deserve it. I know. I've been the designated driver more times than I can count.

  18. Looks like you have a lucky secret Santa recipient. I have 2 this year and I'm glad as the first didn't even manage the minimum spend (and entirely my fault got a gift from my ideas wishlist so it was not actually wanted oh dear all sorted though). The second is not so secret and under the tree and looks very alluring - the recipient may wish she had someone else, but then she didn't make it easy so I covered everything ;) Hope you had a lovely evening and were well reciprocated!

  22. Hope you had a good time going out and about with the Coven tonight! When we took a group of Scouts to Norwich several years ago they called the American leader mothers traveling with the group the Twisted Sisters cause we got busted by a bobby taking tart cards out of the red box phones in London! Probably saved our lives truth be told!! The British Mom's were known as the Booze Mother's for their frequent trips to France...Life is good and like you only we know why we truly deserved those nicknames! Hope you have a great week! 57. From this perspective I'm not sure if you should be the designated driver. Looks a bit shakey to me. Course I don't know what the rest of the coven look like and what concoctions might come out of that gathering. And what the hec? You actually have gifts to wrap? You are WAY ahead of my game.
