What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 130

Ah, mine is a double work in progress today.  See the bright red letter and number?  (Really, if you can't, you may wanna get an eye test, seriously.)  They are for a Christmas present.  They are freshly painted and dry, but sitting on scraps of paper that I've used to cover another project I'm working on...that's not a huge secret, more that I needed to discuss the G3 with Miss Dunnit, so that went on top.  That's how it is in Julia world.  No need to tidy until the thing on top falls off.  And that's why there appears to be nothing on the table that actually could 'go' with the G3...mostly it's stuff I was using for the scrapbook LO underneath. See the ATG gun - reloaded and in constant re-use....I may accuse it of being fiddly (and it is), but that won't change my love for it.  You can see at right my tidy basket of stamps waiting to be put away...it is starting to behave badly - that is, driving me mad.  I wish I could manage without acrylic stamps I really do.
Share with us your workdesk won't you?  Paper crafts, any crafts, work, home, floor, desk, dedicated space or not...we'd like to see what you're up to.  Upload to your blog and link it here.  Please don't link if you aren't showing a workspace or work in progress, and put WOYWW in the title.  Please don't link if all you have for us to read is an advertisement for another site or a litany of product links.  No fair.  It's the Season of Goodwill - something that we WOYWWers have shared for 130 weeks non-stop - please don't make it need rules, it's meant to be fun!

  7. I'll take on your acrylic stamps if you take over me having to change a socket from a 1:12 scale to a 1:24 scale (dolls house). Grrr! *lol*
Always such a wonderful view onto your desk.... ripe for a rummage and a bit of pillaging :D

  8. Gotta tell ya...I planted cucumbers this summer and then made the most incredible cucumber pickles which took me days soaked in hot candies. Your G3 makes me hungry based on this thought. They tasted delish at out tday dinner, so I'm hoping this works out for you as well. Please keep us posted. I'm thinking it will be a hit.

  20. Cunning, I like it, cover table with pieces of paper and strategically place some artwork' I love my ATG gun Crimble cards would have taken way longer without it or messy glue would have to have dried. I feel like I've made it into the world mow you are a following thanks, made me day :)

  21. Man alive that's a bright start to my day ... thought it was some kind of advert for a political convention at first though.

I love my ATG too, but they are bulky to have handing around - I feel I need mine on some kind of springy coil hanging from within reach, that I can just pull down and use and then leave it hanging there waiting on me - am I getting a bit carried away?

    Hugs

  29. Had to laugh at all the comments above, Julia - it is always interesting to see what everyone else has to say - am running late but actually was early just linking late tricky time zones feel for folk in US they must never feel up with the rest of us..now 3G or G3 yes we all see it but what it means that is another question, blessings and happy WOYWW! Shaz in oz.x #31

    ReplyDelete
  30. Sorry I have no clue what the 3G means either! Are you gonna put us out our missery and let us in on it Julia? Then we can all go 'Ahh yes of course', (slap our foreheads, tell ourselves how dumb we are,) and say 'Of course I KNEW that'!
Great stuff on your desk and I spy lots under it too!!!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Oh go on, spill the beans about that G3 - it's really got folk wondering now! Nice to snoop round your desk, it's always fascinating - mine is waaaaay too tidy and therefore boring this week :( Di xx

  32. Great philosophy Julia re no need to tidy unless it falls off! I think I shall adopt that. Is your daughter in the government?? Shouldn't it be G8??? Mmmmm I'm intrigued!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Your G3 looks fab, but I wonder what you want to make with it. Your philosophy about cleaning your desk is, at this time of year, one of the best!
    Have a happy WOYWW. xFranka

  34. Just what happened to me this week. Some Alterations dies fell off the shelf, which is just above my head!!! so I had to tidy. I 'gasped' at least 3 times - G3!!!!

  37. G3 oh what's that for then? Lovely shade of orange though. What a gorgeous shade of pink the Stazon is loving that.

Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday x x

  38. G3? What G3? Only joking! Well what intrigue you have caused! My first thought was that you were going to a protest about capitalism and then I thought maybe they are a pop group, and then I thought maybe it is not G3 at all and that when you put them together they actually make a face. Or not...

    ReplyDelete
  39. Well, i've passed the first test of the day and just managed to spot the G3 by peering at the photo!!!!
Like Lisa-Jane I thought maybe you were joining the stikers and holding a world meeting or something!!!!

  42. Having just dragged myself out of bed at 9.15 a.m. to make sure I at least make double digits on WOYWW, and just managing to remember to grab my glasses on the way down, I can admit to being able to see the G3 (just.) It's a bit small, though, Julia, and not quite bright enough... (Perhaps things will appear clearer by lunch time, after I've had a chance to retreat back under the duvet with a cup of tea). I'm really intruiged to know what it's for! It would be dead mean of you not to tell us, though, Julia, because you are the instigator of the Nosiest Blog Hop on the Web and you've got us all positively drooling with nosiness.

Apart from the G3, that's a good messy desk to get us all going this week! Still nothing of note on mine, I've afraid (still suffering from the lurgy) but at least I've got a bit of knitting and crochet to report this week!

Have a really happy WOYWW, and thanks for all you do!!

Great to see such 'creativity' in action though! I gave my desk a fright this week and actually cleared it!!! :o

    Take care and Happy WOYWW

Should we get why it's G3 or are we guessing? Is she to be a teacher and its the class name?

Your desk looks super busy. I haven't graduated to a ATG yet - still using double-sided tape from the office supply store and Tombow runners. But lot's of my scrapping buddies use ATGs.

This week I'm trying to organize and tidy up AGAIN, still!

Would love for you to stop by my blog when you have a moment or 2.
