What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 48

A mess is what! I started cutting something out, then I decided to mount some pyrimage cards I'd made up from the Crafthouse Press kit and then I was digging through my brad collection for something for Miss Dunnit to use and then I finished sticking the buttons onto the flip flops and it all just adds to the sense of mess and clutter. Still, at least it's changed from last week - there were moments when I feared it wouldn't have!
Centre stage is a sheet of Christmas peel offs - it has a few swirl patterns around the text and I was picking those off to go on a non-Christmas card..no idea why that isn't in the shot!

The flip flops are a gift for a friend, I don't think she reads here, so it's OK. And she'll be given them tonight, so not long for a badly kept secret! Paige and I saw the idea in Monsoon or Accessorise last month; I'll show them in 'full' when they've been given.
You can't see, and not deliberately so I must say - purely accidentally......my WOYWWAC piece is underway and the initials are actually under those boxes on the left..waiting to be stuck on or drawn around or something. Dunno yet!

Otherwise it's all the usual suspects...papers at top right that I want to try and use, stamps waiting to be returned to Shopkeeper Gal are at top centre, the card holder is unemployed - leaning against the back edge of my desk - because apparently there's no room!

Come on then, show us your work surface - doesn't have to be a desk and certainly doesn't have to be paper crafting, we just would very much like to see what you're up to today. Post a pic on your blog, link here and we'll visit. It takes a while to visit; please be patient and stay kind - repay the visits - this is all about the community we got going on here people. Indeed if you're thinking about joining in, you may be pleased to know that there aren't any joining fees or rules - just join in when you can, and when you can't, we'll miss you. You can do the Anniversary Challenge whether you've been WOYWWing for 47 weeks or 1 week, s'not important!

What's WOYWWAC? Check this post.

  1. WOW Julia you are always so busy, your desk looks a hype of activity and I'm really excited to see what you have made for the WOYWWAC. I've started mine too, but having a mental block at the min on how to finish it LOL. So love Wednesday's, have a great day, Tracy Evans x x

  2. I was just finishing my post when I saw yours was up. Too funny. I like that your mess has changed from last week's mess (just joking). I can't believe you are talking Christmas in nearly the same breath as WOYWWAC. Seems like a time warp or something.

I've started a new and very intense project, so I must lay out for a few weeks. But I'll be back before you have a chance to miss me. And I promise to drop by and see your desk and what you're coloring with your copic markers.

Thanks for being such a wonderful and gracious host. I am going to miss this Wednesday blog hop for the next few weeks. I WILL be back for the WOYWWAC, if not before. I have a banner already planned.

  3. Hi, Julia. Not much on my desk either today, but I've posted some more pics... Interested in the flip flops. It's far too cold in my office for anything other than warm wollies and thick tights still - hope the weather warms up again soon!!! I'm freezing.

  20. Yeehaw! It worked! I've switched to a different, more conventional browser and commenting seems to be OK. So to continue :) I love the back post about the copics and your colouring. I must explore the Pearl-ex painting as I have a ton of them and they are def. underused. I'm sure I have gum arabic someplace too and have a dim recollection of needing that. I, too, look forward to the flip flops (we called them ZORRIES when I was a kid, but no idea why!)

  45. It's my first WOYWW today and as I have been viewing over the weeks, I finally caved in and joined up!

I always love to have a nosey on other peeps desks and what they are creating. Those flip flops look interesting Julia. Look out for some at Poundland if you want a cheapy makeover!

On with the show then. I have just realised that I wouldn't be # 102 as I mentioned in my post last week! LOL. I have not 'got it' and see that I have to post differently each week! Duh! Oh...and I would appreciate it if someone could explain how to link 'here' instead of the long web addy. I have instructions but it didn't work here as there isn't a 'globe' to click on. IYKWIM. Like a lot of my crafty goodies-haha.Am now off to unpack this hougie board thingy and am hoping it does all it says on the tin. I'm a sucker for equipment.Probably won't be hopping onto many desks this week as I don't want a repeat of last week's little debacle. Hugs Betty

I spy three pairs of scissors this week - well done! as for the frame on my desk it is part of an Anna Griffin set - just a frame for scrapping - but it has some pop out buttons also and I was going to use them on...........? As for the scorpal, my friend has lent me a scoreboard but not of that magnitude, it is a crafters companion one.
