What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 672

I hope you had a lovely Easter weekend. It’s been lovely; yesterday I had to look in my dairy to check the day - Mr Dunnit had some sporadic time off too so he was not the usual guide! We had sunshine, showers and lots of family. And some of us had lots of chocolate. Lots.
I haven’t been at my desk, I’ve been toiling in the garden. I say toiling because it was clearing and preparing and planning…not my favourite part. But, to reward myself (think carrot and long stick!), I ordered some new goodies, and they arrived yesterday. Now sitting patiently on the desk. It won’t be long, I’ve gotta itch!

Sorry but not sorry about the flare of sunshine - delicious isn’t it! My desk is on wheels against a door that gives access to what will be a nice patio area (that’s what the planning part of the weekend was about). Well, the desk had been rolled out of the way and of course, things standing on it started to fall. Oh to be organised. The very foreground shows an MDF thingy that managed to fall off its little shelf and break. Lucky I hadn’t yet decorated it, huh. In turn, it knocked the rack of lovely blending brushes over, but nothing worse happened. I took the photo, picked the brushes up and then distracted myself with coffee. Then the diary reminded me I have a 10am today, so I must away to dress and gather papers. Gosh, ain’t life glamorous!
Leave a link to your desk for me, I shall need a distraction when I get back! Thank you very much!

  1. It was indeed a fabulous weekend of sunshine - I am only just starting the chocolate but I'll get there.... I hope your planning for your patio area comes to fruition soon and you'll share with us. Shame about things falling and breaking when you moved your desk.. you need a little fence round the edges! 2. Those are lovely big word stamps that I see on your desk. I am glad that only brushes fell when you moved your desk. We couldn’t move mine, and shan’t until we move from here! LOL. I look forward to your visit. Happy WOYWW! I am finally up the list instead of last! I had to get up in the middle of the night though to do it! #3

  4. You're right the weather has been lovely but I think Easter is a bit later this year otherwise it might have come when we had the last lot of snow. The park by us has been very busy which was nice to see though it's even better now as the children are back at school and we can walk the dogs in peace Lol! I know I need to get out in the garden but not really got going with it yet so well done you. Hope we get chance to see your hard work out there. Have a very happy woyww. Hugs, Angela x9x

  10. So lovely to enjoy some sunshine, make the most of it while we have it! I am so distracted at the moment sorting out problems with defective battery, thinking about what craft stash I am taking away this year, I seem to be doing everything, but nothing is getting done! Have a great week x Angela #13

  16. Yep I've been toiling everyday too, bit by bit is what I manage. I love rays of sunshine. Well I am back, cant wait to see what you achieve.
Dont you hate when things fall over, creates such a mess and taking time out of our joyful day

  17. Happy Belated WOYWW. The latest sunshine has been wonderful, but still chilly in Pembrokeshire. With crochet, I am fine actually doing the stitches, but it just where I am meant to 'insert' the hook each time that gets me confused and then a square turns into a strange curve! Ali x #16
