What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 659

Its 8:44 GMT which is vey late for this post. I had every intention of it publishing from a scheduled editor, but having typed it out and added the picture….surprise, I went to bed without hitting the Publish button. Then I dashed around a posted it. To the wrong blog. Sorry folks, it’s going to be a slow day! There are no computers that can accommodate this sort of stupid. Argh.
Anyway, here’s the desk
Sort of makes me happy that it’s back to some sort of normal. I still haven’t used the Clarity die at the back right, I might force myself this week as I’m making cards….might. As you can see I’ve added some text to the two notebook pages I stamped and coloured last week, and one of those has even found it’s way onto a card. I promise that the colours match much much better than it appears here! I’m doing a bit of a Cindy actually, there are four cards with already created backgrounds on my desk, (two now finished, two at left). I found them while I was looking for something else (of course) and so have erm, gently challenged myself to use them. If you’re interested, I’ve resumed posting stamps for sale on my other blog www.forsakenstash.blogspot.co.uk. They are another tranche from my late friend Mary’s huge collection and so the sales money will go to charity. I’m happy to post worldwide, whatever it costs I’ll quote you before making you commit! This first batch is largely Christian, St Patrick’s Day and some Christmas. Please check back now and then, I’ll be adding new batches every few days until it’s done now.
Before you run over there to have a look though, please add you desk post to the list so that us lesser mortals can be inspired!

  5. You are not on your own Julia this morning. I have just had a real tizz going on as I could not get my blog to post, couldn't get you either. LLJ was my next try - perfect! Turns out I had scheduled for 13.46 and it was only 'the boss man' who managed to sort me out and discover what I had done. No idea why you wouldn't refresh though.
Anyway, here better late than never but I am early by all accounts looking at the list. Or have I got that wrong? Confused morning so I think a cuppa and back to bed is my next move. Only kidding but definitely a cuppa.
Lovely messy desk by the way.
    Hugs, Neet 6 xx

  6. Hi Julia, yes back again, amazingly! and this is a record I think twice in three weeks. Think last week was my 11th anniversary of joining WOYWW.
the sight of that die still waiting to be used on your desk from last week, did cheer me up. And like your last week post I'm going through my birthday book. Annually I'm appalled at the number in Feb. I am really liking your card esp the 'Wake up and be awesome!" inky or paint? card. well done!

Thanks for Sharing, God bless and keep you safe, and all those you love, hugs Shaz in Oz.x

  7. All a bit crazy this week for everyone! But isn't work that is so nearly finished it is quick to complete such a joy to stumble upon? Such a sense of accomplishment for so little effort LOL! Very much a hit&run this morning as The Hubster lurks, waiting to sort out where all my 1000s of contact went when he upgraded me. DOH!

    Stay Safe & Happy WOYWW!

  8. Finding those Nearly Finished pieces is a win eh? There’s lots of lovely crafting going on with you today, I like the linky card you’ve done, very like Neet’s Polaroid cards recently, the square shape is satisfying for some reason!
    Have a good day!

  11. I popped over to Forsakenstssh and there is nothing there🤣. I have days like that! I linked my blog this morning and checked to make sure the link was working, only to realize I hadn’t posted a picture of my work area! I have that Awesome quote in my craft room. I saw it in the Range and had to have it. Have a great week Angela #10

  12. Thanks for the heads up about the stamps . . . Christian ones are hard to find over here . . .
My desk was similar to yours yesterday, have managed to clear down somewhat but can assure that by this afternoon it will be back to normal!!
My Vera Lane images are my 'go to' ones and the latest one where she is reclining on the chair will get used a lot!!
Have fun finishing off and I will pop over to browse the stamps later

  13. Aah spotted this on my coffee break, i am loving the different times to be honest as i dont tend to go online before work. Fair play for finding partly finished stash not too much hopefully to finish them?! (Says the crafter who actually needs to craft!!)

  19. Oh my life, I looked before bed and waited til after midnight. I pondered when I woke initially at 5am but nah! I tried again just before 9am then had to get ready to go to do the weekly shop. Got back, unpacked shopping, put washing on, talked to family, finally sat down with a cuppa and find I'm probably last again!

Dying to see the die at least cut out, go on you can do it. Did peruse the stamps but I don't really use them but am still pondering the Christian ones.... I guess all the dies have gone now???? More my scene, love the alphabet I got from you/Mary, very special. BJ #22 in 2022

  20. Hi Julia! Nice busy desk! I like the idea of having cards with backings ready to go, I may try that with my gelli prints! We all have those totally weird days when going back to bed and starting over seems the right thing to do! Hope the rest of your day goes well, Lindart #23

  21. Happy WOYWW - late! I love to use up stash in my crafting, which does mean I have plenty of new stuff that I just stroke! Even with my decluttering, there will never be a chance of being bored in my craft room. The link to your selling blog didn't go anywhere, and when I just typed the name of the blog in, it was empty. Will try again later. Ali x #24

  23. Good to see your desk looking much as it always was again, Julia. Finding interesting stuff while searching for something else entirely is par for the course for in my craftroom. I suspect it's much the same for most crafter's. Hope you make plenty stamp sales and raise lots for charity. Have a great week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #26

  24. I linked up at about my usual #. What a busy desk! I just got a box in of goodies so I need to play with my new stuff (after I'm done preparing for class next week).
    Have a great week!

  25. I'm really late this week, but at least I am here! Your desk is always filled up with interesting things. Do I spy a deckled edged ruler? I make them out of Cornflakes packets. Sorry about my misleading description of the phone box. It was just a brown wood effect (rather well made) cardboard box that someone's Samsung Galaxy S5 neo came in, years ago...so a bit boring really! Most people thought I meant a real miniature phone box...haven't got one of those...but I do have a London double decker Bus...(which once held shortcake biscuits) Stay safe, keep on crafting Happy Late OYWW!?
